remember this will all be flooded once the dam is finished.
If you plan on settling here let me know. this land (the mountain with the spruce trees) its already claimed by me. I don't mind if you settle above ground, if you ask first. any underground digging is prohibited.

Just a perspective of the boundaries:

Also, any trees other than spruce will be burned down within said area. If you need wood there is a tree farm near the city.

I think that was a temporary workstation I made about a month back when I was exploring the region, and lighting up some caves to try and get more overworld spawning. If so, that hole was there to begin with, though I think I might have mined out a vein or two of coal (if you want reimbursement, let me know, and I'll get back to you on that once I get back to pandora in a week or so). Flooding it is fine.

I doubt it was you. I found out who it was. but If you dug around the caves in the mountains it's totally fine. just keep it at minimal. I have something planed under the dam/mountain. I don't need a reimbursement, if anything I have a lot of spare coal (about 1.5 double chests full). I need to stop by the big *furnace thing* and donate some of it.

put it this way; water world is an unfinished server project. unless everyone else already gave up on it. I will eventually go back and work on it some more. that is a perfect area for an xp mob farm.

By camera player I assume you mean people to film the games? If so, I'd like to do that. While I'd prefer to be a camera player, if you end up needing more people to be tributes I'll happily switch to that role.

it sounds like it could be interesting...as long as it doesn't turn into a clusterfuck of lava-spawning and mob-spawning by the cameras like it did in that series.
Um, this post feels devoid of content. Good luck?
For comparison, that means that if the cabbage guy from Avatar: The Last Airbender filled up his cart with lettuce instead, it would be about a quarter of a lethal dose.

Agreed. There should be limits to how much sponsors can interfere. Hell, if we wanted to make it more like the book we could have two levels of non-player players: sponsors who are are only allowed to give out certain kinds of items every so often (so, not raining apples or beef) and game makers who can toss a little lava or mobs here or there if things get boring, or as corralling measure.

Under the cathedral... ish? I guess?

Its near a pretty hugely open set of caverns near bedrock around there.

Coords for the first shot are about x = -16437, y = 12.6, z = -7781.

edit: I was right, that aligns it very closely with the cathedral.

Ah, you found my base! Welcome, welcome. When i realized where those caves went, I just HAD to make something :)

Oh, I think I may have mentioned something vague about it in the forum a while back. In any case, i hope you didnt obsidianize the lava antechamber. That place looks awesome, in my opinion, though on really needs a fireproof potion around there.

As for the undercathedral itself, that is supposed to be a blaze face. It kinda failed...

Would anyone care if I installed a redstone lighting system in the Pandora sewers? The old ones, I mean, that are overflowing with monsters. It's a little annoying to always hear monsters growling when I'm walking around a peaceful city...

That was me, I wandered into your space, realised that it was someone elses, briefly pondered your incomplete redstone, and left. I expect I'll never visit again.

In fact, I'm abandoning that branch mine, or any similar program in the city area. I was initially doing so for the purpose of forcing monster spawning into intentionally unlit areas, that purpose is largely served now.

Ok I will keep building, its an underground obsidian vault with a combination lock if your interested. Theres a smaller test one built out of stone at the top of the stairs if you want to have a look. Also you should really build saftey rails! I very nearly fell to my death with all my obsidian.

I intend to fence off the partially flooded village (Near Jestingrabbit's house) to protect them from zombies. There will be plenty or fence gates and stiles of course, as this is not meant as any sort of confinement camp. After that I'll build a underground iron golem mobivator to siphon extra ones to the pandora city center.

Anyway, if you've got land claims near that village please mark the border with a few fenceposts. I'll take down whatever shelters are already built outside those borders.

Hey the game glitched me out of my vault and when I returned it was aboslutely full of mobs which then killed me, by the time I had got back all my stuff had gone. I blame JRs mine network its connected to.

But would it be possible to get 2-3 stacks of obisidian froma mod? Everything else I had I can easily do without but I really don't want to have to mine more obsidian than I need.
