Twitter got 1.00 times as good when my browser started replacing the phrase "There's a horse in aisle five." with "My house is full of traps.", and vice-versa.

How to use caller-ID to verify that a phone call is authentic.
Look for this in the callers number field. --> 000000
If its not "unknown" or "blocked", its probably fine.

How to use an emails header to verify that the sender is authentic.
Look at who it says its from. --> Name <email>
Its probably from them.

That's pretty consistent with my experience.

I remember my warrior being recruited for ICC as he was still wearing ilevel 187 blue wrists and shit as they were getting batshit desperate (45 minutes). Only tank gear dropped and my ilevel soared like crazy, that was pretty funny.

As for pets, I remember a really really shitty DK tank on hellfire ramparts and we eventually had my bear tank instead. The healer commented it kept aggro better and took less damage.

The psychology of people in that game baffles me sometimes. Last year I was tanking a cataclysm normal dungeon that went flawlessly - no wipes, no deaths, and it was over in about 15 minutes. Nobody complained about anything, infact, noone said a word in party chat at all. After, I got this nice message from the healer:

Edit: and the nazi moderators crack me up too. I'm now perma-banned there and they didn't even tell me why, just "4th offense".

No, no, only their forum accounts. You can't have racial purity on your forums if you let troll accounts keep breeding.

Just throwing this out there: OpenType Font and Embedded OpenType files for the (first?) official xkcd font used in Externalities - 1193. It may not look great in some browsers, but it does in image editors:
Image
If you have the forum font installed, you may run into the issue where both fonts are considered part of the same family, and you can only select one in most applications. I can provide a hacked version of the official font, relocating it to another family, but I don't want to infringe Christina Gleason's copyright (she's listed as the font author). Otherwise, I *could* hack the family of the fora font, if its creator (operator[]?) doesn't mind. Or, you can hack it yourself, if you get FontForge (free), open a font, Element -> Font Info, change Family-Name in PS Names, and Generate a new font from it (ignore the errors/warnings; the font still appears to function).

This all of course assumes you want to have both fonts for some reason (e.g. because the official font doesn't have alternate glyphs for uppercase and lowercase). If you just want one, uninstalling the other will resolve most conflicts.
