How does she know it is still rising? At the castle it was obvious. Now, they are much farther down the beach. Is there some marker of where it was? Erosion? Salt deposits? (It all seems to be sand, so neither seems likely.) And, do they know enough to understand the meaning of such things?

Also, there are rocks somewhere. They threw them with the trebuchet. Or, Megan stuck a ball of sand together with the same stuff she used to reinforce the first dyke.

I am behind, so apologies if this has been discussed.

No but I have a FTB Ultimate server, I am sure I can put together a builder blueprint that can crunch this out.

It might work in Terraria as well.

Probably better in Terraria, easier to keep to the 2.5d/3d feel.

For a second I thought someone had crudely colored in Megan's head in a previous frame

Then I realized she was facing away and felt silly.

Oh, fine! Listen, if I can't blankpost, I'm going to have to be especially inane.

What is the current surface they're on? They've gone a far way from the 'beach', so it's obviously not sand (as if it ever were!), dandruff, semen, coffee, cancer, or babies. My best guess is pocketlint.

Yeah, this thread has a pretty breakneck pace for one on a webcomic forum.

It's basically a chatroom with a log at this point

I now think of newposter posts as something more like little time capsules, buried deep in the thread and awaiting discovery by those who seek the Path of True Enlightenment by following in the fabled footsteps of BlitzGirl, who may then thrust them back into the future as part of a wall-of-replies.

Hey...maybe Cueball wasn't going big potty after all, perhaps he buried a Time capsule in the sand where the river meets the sea?

I felt the same way as you my first few posts (and I am such a newbie) but these kind folks took pity on me. It's only been about a week for me and they haven't banned me yet!

It's the dead pixels themselves, so not easy to see the colour of, being just 1 pixel each. Two red, one green.

Blind posting from 513 here so forgive me if this has been said before.

The River is the thread of Time. There are other Rivers, because there are other Threads.

The Sea is the entire internet.

The River flows into the sea, adding to the collective that is the Internet.

But the Sea is coming to meet the River, because people on the Internet are finding the River and adding to it.

Not this time, no.

After the Fading and the loop fake-out I'm pretty confident that when the End of Time comes it'll come with Drama.

Also we still have La Petite hanging around somewhere as a Chekhov's Gun.
