Seriously Megball? That's it?!?!? That's all you have to say?!

ETA: How about a, "Wow, I've never seen one of these before!" or, "This tree is neat because it reminds me of the trees that grew in our backyard when our family lived in the suburbs of Pheonix!" or, "Man, I could really go for some Israeli couscous and falafel right now."

You'd stick at nothing to stop the puns, wood you?

You must forgive him, BlitzGirl, for some are rooted in their ways and will not bough to the will of others.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'd say that thoughtful puns are like wind whispering through the branches. It's the mindless ones that aren't even offshoots of the discussion that are like deadwood in our orchard.

Hmmm... I suck at puns. Those are all metaphors.

Consolidation donator is someone giving away a steam locomotive with a two-wheeled front truck, eight driving wheels, and no rear truck.

Clearly what he is saying is guys don't whine if you offer them a free steam locomotive.

Clearly, I can see that this must be true, for the GLR, Creator of Time, has indeed placed there a tree without ice. But what does it portent, if anything?

I remember a childhood friend who had a Woody toy (a child's plaything!) complete with pull string which would say that, among other things. Though due to the low sound quality it was hard to distinguish between the correct phrase and "There's a snake in my boat!" or "There's a cake in my boot!" Or maybe that was just my imagination.

Might be the longest stretch where they've both been inframe and haven't talked. There have been longer silences when they weren't present, such as the Fading.

I think this has been mentioned before, actually. But that was pre-Fade, while they were working on the castles atop their platform. The more recent developments add some weight to the theory (what with them leaving primeval shores and traveling inland).

I'm terrible at guessing games. But your mention of holidays did spark an idea in my mind. Can anyone verify that the bird first appeared on [heretical]May 11 or 12[/heretical]? If so, it is quite a coincidence, perhaps, that the bird should appear, in Time, on the day that some in the Outside know as International Migratory Bird Day.

Good thing, too, since English is about as far from consistent as a language could be.

I don't know about that, I am sure given enough time we could make our own language that would be far less consistent then any sane person would even attempt to create.

Funny thing about Malboge: it standardizes line endings on input. Even the most evil programming language could not tolerate platform-specific line endings - some things are just beyond the pale.

So if I am a good Time Waiter, I shall put the hat on when I enter the Church of Time (the OTT)... So I've put a hat! I found it alone (frame 7, #412)...

Hats are a mystery. Some cults have men remove their hats in the holy place, and women keep them on. Other cults have it the other way round. People raise their hats in greeting. In some kitchens the height of the cook's hat indicates rank with the chef having the tallest. If you look through 19th, 20th century photographs of busy town squares you will see phases of behatted and hatless periods, usually the hats are in one or two styles (men's hats). Ask a hat wearer if you can try their hat on, they will prolly be reluctant and will grab it back if you keep it too long.

120 newpix is a long Time to HP sauce. (The outside called me over the weekend and it's taken 3 evenings to ketchup.)

In that case, as readers of Douglas Adams' trilogy in five⁶ parts will know, she would have learned how to fly.

⁶: Didn't count (or read) the 6th one by Eoin Colfer.
She learned to fly?
²You don't have to count it, but it is worth a read.

Just finished reading your blog. I would vote for you for president.
On the other hand, I'm grateful that there aren't political posts here1
On the other hand, what's a cellist doing making percussion jokes?

1Please, please, please let us not get started with political posts, that way lies madness and flame wars. I had lunch yesterdip in a place where they had CNN on the TV. I was so far behind on Outside, I felt I was ketchupping, but also had no desire to, and I got really irritated at the lack of joy I've gotten used to seeing/reading/finding here.

Excellent: I'm up to two votes now (three if I can depend on the Spousal Unit).
And why not percussion jokes? At least I didn't start w/ the viola jokes  .
What's the difference between a violin and a viola?
Spoiler:
A viola takes longer to burn.

That reads rather differently on this side of the pond. fhorn seems to be asking how Buffygirl keeps committing suicide. (Which would be a good question if she did.)

"Last edited by Eternal Density at newpix 208033.00 B.T., 2013 14:19:33 UTC, edited 1 time in total."
Is this the same for all last edited Timestamps? If so, it looks like your time format has a comma in it, which messes up the script's search for the end of the Timestamp. I suggest editing your settings to remove it. Alternatively, find the line in the script which says "var comma = str.indexOf(',');" and edit it to "var comma = str.indexOf(', edited');".

8.2 milliseconds...that be an annoyingly small measure of Things that are on my side for 600, Alex!.

Simple: 1 TimeFrame = 395 TimeLines and 1 TimeLine = 553 TimePoints.

My take on the neat thing is that she means interesting. Interesting perhaps because of it's novelty. Perhaps where they are from, there are no trees?
