Beware if you see someone walking around with eyes like this:

Especially if said person is munching on brains.
In that case: why were you looking at his/her eyes so closely? Are you insane?

Whew. I'm zombied out for a while. :D Thanks for the NewData, Kieryn!
Something is coming off/out of the bucket, and Megan seems to have taken a chunk out of the boxwall. Oh, wait, that's just her bag.

The OTT now has over one million views!

At (only) one minute a view (probably more) this represents 700 days of time, - worth waiting for.

A small ottification of 'Bring him home' from Les Miserables. (It's too high! This song's too high! Pity me! Change the key...)

G-L-R, We wait for it
Your OTC is a big hit
A million times, it's been viewed
Is it bound, will it loop around

Tell us more!
Tell us more.
Tell us more.

I never thought I'd be so enthralled
By two stickfigures on the run
The newpix come, one by one
Once they're seen, they are gone
Once they're seen, they are gone

We wait for it, yes wait we do
We wait for it, as you told us to
Facebugs fly. Raptors swoop.
Watchers cry. Molpy's poop.

Wait for it, wait for it
Just said poop - o f.. shit

Tell us more!
Tell us more.
Tell us more.

And another one: Singing in the Rain

I'm Waiting in my pants
Just Waiting in my pants
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again.

I'm waiting for some it
Whatever it may be
The sun's in my pants
And i'm ready for love.

Let the molpy flocks roam
On this thread I call home
Come on with the wait
I've a smile in my pants
It tickles like ants
just waiting
waiting for some it

just waiting
waiting for some it

Megan will go into Mario World. There she will enter a ghost house and she will meet me. I will win, after which I will move her to another castle. Queball will come after her to save her.

Blind post to bump two newposts. (xpatiate's papal orders for were the in third message on NP882, so I went back and checked for them.)

mittagleffler wrote:Oh my. This is my first time. I just couldn't hold it in any longer.

Go easy, tiger.

karhell wrote:Alright, registration time for Yet Another Delurker.
I have been following the OTC for quite a while, always in the shadows, always silent.
Round the end of the Madness, I finally decided enough was enough; too many in jokes I didn't get, too many questions unanswered, I had to read it ALL.

And so, ever since, I have been plodding along, caught Somewhere In Time (seriously, I can't believe this one was never referenced).
I paddled through the Sea of Madness, patiently reading in silence, intent on not registering before I reached the Present.

Yet today, passing NP 498*, I encountered this sentence that made me reconsider.
Vytron wrote:If your first post in the thread is "hey guys, I've read all the pages!", you're probably doing it wrong.

For the first time, I began to feel the Loneliness of the Long Distance Reader; the subscribe button taunted me all day, and finally here I am, joining the fray.

I shall now don my greaves of striding, and wait faster than ever, hoping to meet y'all in the Present, sometime.

*yes, I know, not very fast a blitz, but I'm wandering on at my own pace, enjoying the trip**.
**or trek, it seems, should I follow Vytron's nomenclature...

Welcome, mittagleffler and karhell! And good luck with your continued Blitz, karhell; by the time you read this, we'll probably be far in the future.

Awesome work.
If Megan is the one that's going to save Queball, why is she the one entering the tube? Hmm, I could abduct Queball and taunt Megan. Then she'd know that I have locked Queball up. Then, once she has entered the castle I can taunt her a second time. Because Queball is in another castle. Moehahaha (deep belly lauch. Very evil). I could tell her that her father smells of elderberries.

Why wouldn't she? It makes sense if she's fulfilling the Mario role. I don't recall Princess Peach ever entering a tube.
I think you would be a superb taunter, Neil. Don't forget "Your mother was a molpy!"

Welcome, mittagleffler! Good luck on your grand Blitz, karhell!+
And as for Vytron's quote, there are no wrong ways to Wait for it. *goes back to check the post for context*
Vytron wrote:*Blitzgirling: Posting reports of treking1, so that the experience is shared with people interested in the trek. Probably requires posting progress so it is known how much one is behind. If your first post in the thread is "hey guys, I've read all the pages!", you're probably doing it wrong.

This was back when Vytron was attempting to define terms like "trek" and "blitz" and here, "blitzgirling." So he's basically saying in that post that to properly "blitzgirl," one must write signposts (and not read the thread silently)-. I don't believe he was talking about blitzing in general. Many other OTTers blitz in silence, too. Image One need not post to enjoy the OTC/OTT - though it's always nice to see you! :)

+Whenever you end up reading this...
-I'm not sure I agree with this definition, but it has been hundreds of newpages since then.

Ninja'd a bit on all of this, but I'll leave it. G'day.

Speculations. Questions. Is she calling Cueball or "someone" off screen? Is the remarkable person/thing far off so that she needed to be a bit higher to see it? Will the old well cover she's standing on give way? (oooooo nooooo)

I'm also believing that the shed is just a place where folks stored "orts and cultch" (odds and ends) rather than a domicile.

The saying in quotes is also from the Maine coast, but I think it is of older/European origin. Scottish?

If it's a lidded well that's in similar condition to the rest of the place, I certainly wouldn't be standing on it...

And whatever she can see, it wasn't obvious until she got higher up. A view down the other side of the mountain?

Edit: No sir, I believe 'twas you who ninja'd me! Or did somebody ninja both of us? Or are we becoming a hive mind?

I would have given the 1000000th viewer a cake if I had a way of finding out who it was.

Could be a flag - a larger version of the ones they put on their sandcastle. Camera zooms out, their whole mountain is just a pile of a sand on a vast beach... giant Cueball falls onto it, squashing everything... the end.

Ok, not a very likely theory.

I'm almost certain that would be me, because... erm... I like cake :P

"It almost looks like there's something on top of the mountain" sounds like it's pretty hard to see, which could mean the mountain tops are quite far away.

Image report...

yappobiscuits: great OTC-shopping! (The hotdog and butter stores.)
BlitzGirl: another awefulsome Sound of Music ottification (or more of an otcification, really)! (I'd never have guessed, before Time, that I'd be so enthousiastic about Sound of Music songs...)
Neil_Boekend: cool zombie story. (But who is this Queball you speak of? ;) ) And speaking of zombies: lovely song, yappobiscuits.
rvloon: cool songs!
BlitzGirl: great job on the Super Mariott! Love the re-use of OTC and OTT elements!
HES: nice mashup!
yappobiscuits: and another great ottification... this one even with audio!
What a load of creativity this past nix. I think I might have even missed a few in the above list. If so, don't worry, enjoyed it all!

Happy 1,000,000th view, everybody! (I think every time you refresh the page, it's a view; so many of us add hundreds of views each, daily...)

Finally, the OTC. Some teasing by the GLR, but still no real answers. Moving ONG soon, towards the mountain? “Something on top” is probably snow, it wouldn't surprise me if Cuegan doesn't know what that is.
(For the Africanists among us: Kilimanjaro?)
