My first post was granted to be the holy third post on the Great Thirding newpage (333). Now the time has come for the Third Thirding newpage, a Jubilee of Thirds!

I am in a tunnel of light.

Marsh'n blitzing to you (1%)

Postby Marsh'n » Wed Jul 03, 2013 9:45 pm UTC

Hmm. I ponder as I wander, and contemplate as I wait. I have been enjoying the present very much, but I feel somehow incomplete. Perhaps I must in fact go on a true Blitzquest to find my lost pieces. So what the hell... I'm gonna miss 1k anyway because of the holiday. So you know what, friends? I'll see you on the other side.

Here's to the future, by way of the past. Image

P.S. I wanted to say it on page 999. Happy 999!
P.P.S. I'll be seeing you! (Wait for it...) ;-)

Ooh that does look pretty 4! How smooth is the transition between orientations? I have only the emulator to test that on and it is... suboptimal at the best of times.

Well, rotation in general is pretty slow. (Android 4.1 was running so smoothly, but 4.2 ruined it.) But there's no noticeable delay for the wallpaper. It's just there when the screen has finally rotated.

I must admit to suddenly reacquiring an interest in this strip when the meowlpy attacked. And the Night chapter just blew me away.

I don't double post, do I? My posts are all on different topics, the words are different, and they are relevant to Time.

Well, if you're concerned about rudeness on my part, fret not. I am off to coma, and when I get back it'll probably be page 1003 or something and Cuegan will have discovered Cory Doctorow's secret lair on top of the mountain or some such.

All the fun happens when I enter coma.

You know if he keeps third posting he is going to get his posts deleted and then the posts will go backwards and the 1000 pope will change!

Edit: Half this page is now just filled with pointless posts just to bump the post count till the 1000 page :/ (including this one probably)

And that would be the other reason it's annoying me. Not that I plan to try to post on page 1000 myself, since I don't really have anything else to say, but still.

yeah, you're double, and even triple, posting. That occurs when no one has posted between your last post and current post and lots of chirping posts show in a row.

Fora etiquette states you should just edit the first post if you have something to add, tho I did laugh at " etiquette be damned."

I'm not too bothered about the double-posting. Usually it would be annoying, but here it's excusable since everyone's excited about page 1000.

You do know you can't get arrested for underage drinking of virtual beer on a web forum don't you?

Edit: You also can't get drunk from it either no matter how many pictures of beer you look at sorry.

Edit2: Also note virtual cakes won't make you fat either. Unless viewing them causes extreme cravings... Hmmm maybe that's why I ate 5 while cakes and 11 muffins last week.

According to the official forum rules:
7. Do not double post. Use the Edit Button.

To clarify, double posting refers to any two posts in a row made by you, even if they have completely different content. If you’re addressing multiple people, all your replies go in the same post. You are able to easily quote as many people as you like by scrolling through the thread review and hitting the quote button, so there should be no excuses.

We tend to be less strict here, and especially encourage people to post the ONG in a separate post, even if the last post was yours; but completely flaunting the rules and making a new post for every sentence is not encouraged.
