Yes. It will be donutty.

As for Helen, I have no space for people, because my crazy passive agressive roomate (who has now decided my washy puff doesn't belong in the shower...though his washy puff is in the shower, so he keeps taking it out and putting it on the shelf) sleeps on the fucking couch.

ZeroSum (+0)
chaosspawn (+1)
PictureSarah (Sarah++)
Meaux_Pas (+droid)

25 out of 30 so far, and I have invited another 6 who I thought Cat had already invited. I'm going to call Nick's and tell them I have 30; if we have a few more than 30, we can just split the tickets between us and it'll be a buck or two each. If you don't have my phone number and you're not coming in the company of someone who has my phone number, PM me and I gives it to yer.

How the hell do these people stay in business? Their drinks are a bit expensive, but it's standard drinks-at-a-club expensive, not second-mortgate-time expensive.

Max, John, Shaun, Shaun's coworker, a girl Shaun met somewhere and her friend, Amy and 8 or 9 of Amy's friends who are going to a movie or something that same night before or after the show. Yeah, I was pretty astonished to find the size of my social network, if I include friends-of-friends who I've only met once or not at all. And there are people I haven't invited.

You guys should turn it into a flash mob, and everybody walk in, sit down, and start speed dating.
Seriously, all the chicks should bring stopwatches.

You don't say anything. You just whip it out and grunt. If she makes eye contact, then you get to sniff each other a bit. If the sniffing goes well, then you mate for the remaining 3.5 minutes before moving on to the next person.

Aiee. I just joined the forum yesterday, and just moved to Boston (well, Somerville!) three weeks ago. There is a whole thread just for meetups here? Sweet.

If we meet up, the rest of will have labcoats and clipboards and be taking very studious notes.

We'll need skin and hair samples for some of the tests. It's easier if you cooperate. =)

I didn't say nerds, I said dorks.

We are such dorks, we don't even have the power to judge others with any noticable effects. ::shrug::

So, are people still interested in the Donnie Darko play? we should get together and buy our tickets soon.

Dude, it's a comedy club, not a dance club. At a dance club, sure you only need six seconds, but comedy clubs are classy places. You need a full 90 seconds before fornication.

So current Friday game plan is: Head into Boston. Meet up with cool xkcd (and other) peoples at the Boyleston T Stop at 7:45. Watch comedy stuffs courtesy of bakemaster. Hangout, have fun times.

Is there any particular spot that is more noteworthy a meetup area than others? Or can I rely on there being some form of geek gravity (caused whenever enough geeks are clustered in an area) to pull me towards the right direction?

If you mean a more specific location than "the subway station", we will be outside, probably standing around in the general streetcorner area there, and I'll wear my awesomesauce-on-pwncakes shirt. But geek gravity may do it just as well, depending on what order people arrive in.

Not quite interested enough to get past the $$ part, I'm afraid.
