So, it has come to this... I have reached the End of Time (or at least the beginning of it). :(

The OTT is quickly filling with grief as both newpix 3089 and its title-text spell the dreadful words: "The end." And what a bad time for ending it is! "Is it really the end? Is Randall messing with us? Will there be a sequel? Or something?" me and Past OTTers are wondering...

The total number of newpix in mscha's viewer and the "Epilogue sequence" and "TimeAfterTime" links, which I have not yet dared to explore, all suggest that there are probably more newpix (...or are [some of] those OTT creations? Can't wait to find out... :)). I also happen to know that there is now a post about Time on Randall's blag, but I'm not reading it until I find the first reference in the OTT.

Thank you, Great Randall, for this brilliant story! I enjoyed every bit. Thank you, OTTers, for keeping the OTT funny, interesting and helpful!

Maybe when you hit the journey the game changes from sand/castles to molpies/mountain climbing? There is a large range of Molpies to work with, and for climbing you need bags, rope, flags, trees, towers, food, water, thwapstick...

I will have all badges apart from Wipeout (imposssible once you have rivers), Ninja Shortcomings (probably), Not ground zero (Don't want to restart) and the time ones (don't want to restart) in a few days and a long time before the journey starts. Currently at Newpix 281.

It might be interesting to have some boosts to improve the probability of the useful Redundakitties. In the advanced state now this is how I rate them:
1) Blitzing - almost worthless (the exception was in reaching the (then) high sand requirements to get irregular rivers)
2) Not Lucky - worthless (there was a time when it was good and generating a 3rd of ones castles
3) Blast furnace - useually worthless (now, again it was good a while ago)
4) Furniture sale - worth having
5) Double or nothng - worth having
6) Most of the other enabled boosts are worth it, but see below,

Currently I see no point in the boost "NewPix Navigation Code", and little point in Ninja assistants - It raises the Ninjas to the value of Not lucky - worthless when rivers are making 1GC/NP. Now whenever the npbs get restless I buy a few more bags.

Request opton to switch off messages about production/loss of castles less than some threshold (eg 1, or 1000, or 1000000)

OMR, that is so me. One time years ago I had some people over for a study group, and I spent two or three of hours cleaning up enough that it was at least presentable. One of the people was someone who was very nice, but somewhat of a Type A personality. Anyway, I said something about having cleaned for hours, and I caught her looking around with a look that clearly said, "OMR, this is what it looks like after a couple of hours of cleaning? Eww." :(

ED

I've been thinking about this, and here is the OTCrazy result.

Sandcastle Era:
As seen on TV. We got Sand and Castles, with some waves, flags, and trebuchets.

Journey Eon.
We still have Redundant Kitty and NewPix Bots, but now our Sand and Castles have disappeared! We must leave them behind like Cuegan did. Maybe there can be a thingus where we can buy some of the early tools in the Journey Eon using Sand and/or Castles. I'll leave that up to a vote. Regardless, we still have Bags and Rivers, only now they produce... Wait For It... Discoveries and Landmarks!

Ok, Steps are used to buy Discoveries (equivelant to Sand Tools in the first Eon). Things like Hill People Trash, Molpies, trees, Berries, FaceBugs, Thwapping Sticks, etc. We still have Bags from the first Eon to start us on our way.
Then we have Landmarks (equivelant of Castles Tools). Things like the River (which we keep from the first Eon), Sand Dunes, Wowterfall, Boabab Trees, The Abandoned Former Habitation on the Mountain Plateau, Milky Way Galaxy, Survey Tower, etc.
Boosts could include "Ch*rp", Pricklymolp, Cueball's Watch, Feed a Squirpy, etc. But there are also a few dangers to be found, including a Snake! and RaptorCat Attack.

The Encounter Eon:
Everything is now back on the table! We now have Sand, Castles, Discoveries, and Landmarks!!
You have to build a RaftCastle before T** **d.
Sand+Discoveries Tools (costs Castles and Discoveries, makes Sand and Steps): Beanish, Telescope, Pictograms, Surveyor's Map, Stolen Maps, The 40, La Petit, etc.

Castle+Landmark Tools (costs Castles and Discoveries, destroys Castles and Discoveries to make more Castles and Discoveries, though maybe more of one than the other): Whole City Up Here!, Chateau D'if, Shortcut Home, Hill People Village, Home!, Yurt, Etc.

Super Expensive, Do Or Die Tools: RaftCastle (costs you a mustard ton of Castles and Discoveries).

ETF: Cueball to Cuegan

Kudos! Did you also say "The end." when it ended and wink knowingly at others? ;) The end, you get it? :P hehhe. sorry.

Then you continued on, swaying gently back and forth forever and ever and would not take your seat?

HaHa! Were you there, azule? That's exactly what I did!

I'm waiting for someone to decode my dance!

Now you just need about 40 people to OTTify your webinar with poetry, colors and jokes.

@waveney- awesomeful and quick ottifying there!
@mscha - took me a minute to figure out where the OTTification part was. :P

If you're gonna pick a frame to put on the wall, why the Voldeframe? Image

Hey everyone, I've made an OTTercomic too!

ETA: Credit where credit's due: The train of thought that led me to this one was inspired by mscha's OTTercomic.

Apart from Forum Games, mostly active on the One True Thread.
If you need help understanding what's going on there, the xkcd Time Wiki may be useful.

Addams thanks all of us who helped. Her life is much better now.

Because if it is just two stick figures on a beach, no one will ask what it is. But if it is some sort of raft on a beach, people will ask and you can tell them and make them part of that day's 10,000.

This is how much ch*rping work I've been doing:
Spoiler:

Here, let me translate. It says: chirp dɹıɥɔ chirp dɹıɥɔ chirp dɹıɥɔ

The funny thing is that this is actually part of my job, so it's really a lot of ch*rping work! And I wrote the script to generate plots like this back when the night sky was chirping!

Don't worry, it isn't that one. Just the current epilogue frame at time of OTCification.

You know... That's actually a pretty good idea. I think I'll go and load all Time frames into my digital picture frame and have them play in sequence. I am pretty sure I can set the interval to an hour too.

Neat!

ED

I've been thinking about this, and here is the OTCrazy result.

Spoiler:
Sandcastle Era:
As seen on TV. We got Sand and Castles, with some waves, flags, and trebuchets.

Journey Eon.
We still have Redundant Kitty and NewPix Bots, but now our Sand and Castles have disappeared! We must leave them behind like Cueball did.

Treeish ideas! I doubt I'll ever get that far, but that's OK. :)

Maybe that's the "disaster" he's apologizing for. Damn! Yappo ninja'd me! I think we've all been on this thread too long, we've all started to think alike. (And by "Too long," of course, I mean "not long enough.")
