The construction of the Death Star has been estimated to cost more than $850,000,000,000,000,000.

But what is that in castles? We have plenty of those.

If they're cheap castles, it's about 8,300,000,000,000 castles, if they're expensive, about 31,100,000,000 castles.

It just occured to me, that "Time" is a meta-sequel to XKCD #915...

If you locked people into a box with hundreds of still frames of a very slow-motion stick figure animation, by the end they'd be adamant that some are great and some are terrible...

Blitzketchupping on replies to posts beginning on NP1521.

Attempts to fully ottify the calendar seem to have fizzled out:

  • Meltymip (March)
  • Rainymip (April)
  • Bloomymip (May)
  • Middlemip (June)
  • Sunnymip (July)
  • Muggymip (August)

  • Timelessmip (August)
  • Timelessmip (September)
  • Timelessmip (October)

It's bean a while...

Code: Select all

### 2.1
- Checked the locked crate reward to ensure that it's expanding storage properly. Seems fine to be
- Evened out the locked crate reward a bit: starts higher but grows 2000 blocks per Logicat Level rather than 50%
- Doubled Redundant Raptor effect
- Impervious Ninja lasts between 1 and 50 NP, in half NP increments based on Logicat Level
- Flux Surge time also based on Logicat Level, though lower max and increment
- DoN is once again boosted by Flux Turbine
- Caged Logicat costs 100 blocks per Logicat Level, rather than just 100
- Fix Logicat rewards for boosts with alternate short name
- NPBs can only destroy a maximum of 90% of your castles in one go, regardless of how many NPBs there are.
- Two for One is now Temporal Duplication and is chronotech
- Number of temporal duplicates is remembered and duplicates cannot be sold
- Timetravelled NPBs use the same temporal duplicate tracking as above
- Crate Key is now only available from Logicat if Locked Crate is unlocked and unbought. Also its cost scales with Logicat level :P
- Flux Turbine bonus is not applied when building 0 castles
- Castles Down is not incremented if Infinite Castles have been built
- Blackprints
- Increased Glass Chip/Block Storage buying (Blocks still need an improvement in this area...)

And now I venture forth bravely into the land of no internets :( (unless they've fixed it)

ETA home now, and learned that the internet was fixed this mornip. Yay!

ZoomanSP wrote:Treeish song, yappo! Did it take longer to record it or to edit the video?

Definitely longer to edit, since I used iMovie (the only thing I've got, had to make do) ...and doing split-screen videos like that in iMovie is an absolute nightmare and can only be done in a very time consuming, round-about, frustrating way - iMovie only has the ability to do one "picture in picture" at a time, so I had to put the first video into place, export it, import it back, put the second video on top of that, and repeat... and for the bits where it's cropped to have half of one video on one side and half of another on the other side is even more stupidly difficult, since iMovie doesn't have the ability to crop without keeping the original video's proportions, so I had to cover up half of one video with green, then put it on top of the other with a greenscreen effect. Man, I hate iMovie so much with its stupid limitations, wish I could afford Final Cut Pro or something...

And even besides those difficulties, I mixed the audio seperately too to get it sounding all nice which also took a long time (I mixed it as I would any studio recording) and also it's a tricky process getting the videos all lined up and in sync properly. So yeah. Recording was a breeze in comparison.
OTTscars results Pt. 2 coming... eventually, but not from me. Seeking writer.

Bring Beanie theories and predictions!

I am not bringing theories to the OTT, but I am noting some of the suggestions:

Some are already true - they are already in frames on the server/laptop.

Some are already planned for this chapter or the next (but don't yet have any frames).

Some are neat ideas that might be worked into the future of the story.

Enjoy!

BTW, Panther's Salve is not useless. Yesterday I blitzed from low-P to low-Z castles almost exclusively on it. Castlesbuilt-limited kitties at Fractal Sandcastles 101+ are scary.

If you have as many castles as waveney, most things are useless.

Flux Surge is useless. I just noticed that I m*starded the counter. Probably Impervious Ninja too. Ch*rp!

Hmm, is that an indication that the wave is about to enter the frame? We'll just have to

It might have merit when and only when I get Catamaran, though I expect the denerfing of DoN will make that no longer true (My castle supply has gone up over 23,500 times so far this mornip)

I need to find a compromise for DoN/flux. I think DoN is the most controversial boost by far. Good thing I never made it give glass, though you already have too much of that due to my Caged Logicat price oversight.

I know what I missed with the countdown mustard: forgot that startCountdown isn't wrapped with EvalMaybeFunction like most things.

I wonder if mscha/newpixbot knows about the new beanie story? (I'm guessing no, since the Time After Time page is not adding the frames.) Newpixbot could help post the beaniepix for when we forget... Image
