Toss me a PM with a barren (non-hatted, if possible) version of your avatar, and I'll have something within a day or two. That goes for anyone.

Ooh, haberdasherpopery. Haberdasherpopedecree: since it's Luckycoat Daveandix, post something you might be buying todip or this wipend.

I was going to comment on the same thing. But then, Jose is the Pope of the Order of the Holy Contradiction (or something like that).

BTW, I may come up with two or three new stories the week after the next one. Tentative titles:
Spoiler:
  • Queen of Fire (a poem, maybe?)
  • The Gift / Retribution
  • Angel of Death (a true one-shot, unrelated to the two above (which are related))

I think I'll be giving myself a new (physical) painting this Christmas, so the one it depicts can never be forgotten. Or maybe new digital ones, for I think the main characters of the above stories are truly worth of it.

Note to self: never delve again into the past of a villain, because by doing this, you may turn them into a hero. Mustard, Beatrix, what have you done to me?

(The spoiler above also complies (inadvertently) with the papal decree. Hint: only one of my two commissions are available for printing )

I think the First Cleric needs a hat. Or maybe the Second Scribe. What does the Pope think?

ED, I see SB is popular even amongst the Goa'uld. Congrats.

It's not really RELATED, but I just felt like sharing. Does anyone else read the otherothercomic Subnormality? It doesn't update very regularly but every one is absolutely brilliant. Always clever, often very long and wordy, rather like short stories in a webcomic form. Not like your average webcomic where you can take in each strip in a few seconds... For that reason I think it's the sort of thing people who enjoyed Time would really like. Here's the latest one which was particularly good. Funny that I didn't think to share this here before and I haven't seen it shared by anyone else either...

....what? There's literally nothing on that page which could be construed as pornography. Except maybe the innuendo in the subtitle of the site, which is contained within an image, but I seriously doubt that a government organization could pull together a working perceptual image reader and innuendo identifier. I guess there might be some interesting things elsewhere in the db.

Trying really hard to avoid buying anything this wipend. (Except we already had to make an emergency run yesterday, when we realized we had food, but nothing to cook it in. Ch*rp moving.) I need to put in an order for my favorite coffee, but that will likely be the extent of it, until we discover what else is essential for survival here.

Nope. Traditional meal. Turkey, mash, veges, yams and cranberry sauce. Things like that. No room for ketchup. Not even mustard. hehe.

Postby Eternal Density » Sat Nov 30, 2013 6:24 am UTC

I think newpixbot is the only post since I last ketched up. I just returned from a little shopping trip. Obtained a new pair of converse as my old pair are a bit... old. Also some new earphones and a new white shirt and black waistcoat to round out my Christmas Party outfit. Despite this being Australia, we have sales on too.

Yes, these are new colpix... Holy Icons made by the Pope of the Order of the Holy Contradiction himself. I thought about using existing ones, but there are so many treeish ones and I didn't want to leave any out... so I left them all out. :)

Does turkey gravy count as condiment? You could still be ok. :)

This slow pan is sure giving the First Commandment a workout!

eta: yappobiscuits, that comic was quite treeish, but I'm not ready for it to be apt yet. Which, I suppose, is exactly the point yanno, the more I think about what I'm saying, the more meta it becomes.

Be careful... remember that a web page is like a papal decree - it is only a set of suggestions to the browser. The browser may ignore them, and browsers that don't support CSS3 will almost certainly ignore css transforms. So, if you are depending on the transform (like an arrow to point in the correct direction) for your page to make sense, don't count on your users seeing what you intend them to see. :)

It turns out that Sandcastle Builder has used css transforms from day 1: the newpix resizing when you click it (which I 'inherited' from C**kie Clicker). (And I believe the analogue ONG clock relies on it also.)
But while it does add some fairly important flavour, it's not strictly necessary for the game to be playable.

Speaking of which:

- Plug Temporal Rift hole
- Glass Monument fix (wasn't setting previewNP back to 0 in one case)
- A few new discoveries and a badge
- Fiddled with MHP a little but don't think I fixed whatever's messing up the price displace for some :(

## 3.1893
- I forgot something.
- Update the descriptions too.

Hey there everyone! This is Yntec- er, um, Vytron!

So there's a Time that comes, when one has to accept that one can't read it all, at least, not soon enough.

So I've decided to step in the present once and for all, hopefully!

In this last ketchup I enjoyed Jose's act of the clerics, and Mrob's Time capsule (I think he has reinvented the art of blitzing!) And blitzreports by new blitzers I hadn't meet before (if you reach this post, keep going!) and several Ottifications by people...

YOU ALL ARE WAITFORITASTIC!

I also want to take a moment to mention the great times I've been having with BlitzGirl, Yappo, Mscha and other OTTers on Drawception (bicyclesonthemoon just reached vet status today, yay!)

I've been drawing BlitzGirl so many times :3 (Warning: contains heretical faces because I couldn't resist!)

I'm also specially fond of those times when she draws something and then someone else captions it, and I get to a chance to draw that caption :), these two instances were Time related:

Hi vytron! Those are some treeish drawception panels. I've had a couple related ones too, which I'm too lazy to find right now on my phone. I also just made vet, so... Yay!
And vytron still seems to have a brain slug. Perhaps chronos's latest seasonal hat craze will cure that.

Per pope: not exactly for Christmas, or my birthday, or even channuka, but I got a wonderful new laptop, whose high graphics settings have been distracting me from this place.
I made my avatar, Buffygirl hatted it, Yappo smileyed it and ggh taroted it!
I've changed, witnessing this thing so beautiful

Good luck on blitzing, katakissa, username5243, musthavebeenmykarma, iskinner, thunk, GnomeAnne, and quantized ! Keep the signposts coming, we love em in the now!

This may be our weepiest weepend yet. I get this crushing feeling similar to the Neverending Story, during the fade-out. We won't really flourish again until we fully believe in our imagination. *begins imagining*

Welcome to the Present, Vytron. I've been pretty good. Where's my present, though. ;) *kidding*

mscha, your latest anim made me realize there must be a timing done with the MysteryONG, maybe even done with an anim that speed in mind. I think adnapemit is right that we're due for something non-molpy quite soon.

adnapemit, is your brainslug getting brainslugs, or are those hats? Are hats how you take down brainslugs? Probably only tiny hats (because Neil's hat is covering one and is not small).

Time never actually ended.

It had a fake ending and now is hiding from us, possibly for our own protection. The flood forced Time to end by ending itself, but its associates live on, unless they have been killed by the other associates. At least some of those associates relocated to nearby the forty just before the Zanclean Flood hit hardest, though.

It's the 503s, which aren't over yet. We'll make it through. You just have to have faith, and follow the First Commandment.

Hi Vytron! Treeish crossovers!

I also looked at caniuse.com , specifically http://caniuse.com/transforms2d which shows browser support for 2d transforms. Seems to be pretty well supported, though the "n versions back" is misleading since some browsers version themselves much more frequently than others. One must also consider that, say, 85% support does not mean that 85% of users can use it, at least not if usefulness requires a specific set of people to access it. With 85% support, and a requirement that all members of a given group be able to access, then only (85%)^10 of randomly selected groups of ten can access the feature in question. That turns out to be less than 20%. All the other groups of ten will have at least one member that cannot access the feature.

Spoiler:
Sorry for not coming up earlier. I managed to break my Arch install (this reminds me I have to do what I was doing when it crashed) and my Windows install (apparently I finally got the BSOD-at-boot update). Then I decided to do a new Arch install on my hard drive (it was running from an unjournaled flash drive before). Then I had to wait until the morning to wipe the new partition with random data so I could encrypt it (random number generation = cooler spin-up = noise). Then the Internet got down. But after it came back and I could perform the install proper, it took me only one hour or so to replicate the old install. Oh, and now I have to finish and deliver an important coursework project in 29 hours! And buy a painting!

Anyway, everything is okay now (except for the Windows install, but who cares?), so: hello from Pegasus!

Half a nopix, or about the length of the ridiculously long, terrible ending of the otherwise amazing Mass Effect 3 hotdog.

It's getting quieter by the dip in this thread and louder by the day on the outside. If I'm not careful I'll find myself slippin' (slippin', slippin') into the basement...

Oh, and Vytron was here. Hi Vytron!

Indeed. I was afraid when I saw all the blue, but it was perfect, neither too hard, nor too easy.

It feels like the After after after after after after Time party. Or, positively, the Way way way way way Before Time II party. hehe.

Neat comic, Vytron. I couldn't tell what the diff was at first. Probably a good sign.

Edit: Congrats, SBN, on being my post-number-mate (1038), as well as forum-title-mates (Saved)!!

Greetings, fellow OTTers. Hope all is molpish with you. All is not molpish with me - it seems my laptop's hard drive has finally given up the ghost, which is extremely endish. I have a couple more things I want to try, but I'm pretty sure it's chirped. Can't really afford a replacement right now, unfortunately, so I'm reduced to phone-otting for the foreseeable future...and I'm not very skilled at that.

So it will be difficult for me to do OTTerish things like post manips and respond to everymolpy, at least for the next riverish while, maybe longer (depends on what I get for Christmas). Just wanted to let you know that I still think you xuys are awesomeful and I will be doing my best to read it all, even if I won't be posting as often.

I'm still wondering how I was able to draw anything that tries to look good, because:
1. drawception drawing is harder than on paper
2. I normally need more time to draw because my eye-hand coordination is a bit mustarded. I have a light case of dysgraphia.

Last yaer I tried a polish drawception-like site maziaj.pl but left it 2 days later because they had so many things wrong I can't even count them all. And just look how it was advertised.
