That is a pretty wide channel. I'd guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 30q. If the color blue is indicative of radiation, then mrob's find means that the dosage from the water is much less than the cave, as the color was noticeable in the unadjusted frames.

Given the subject, I wonder if this qualifies as an unintentional punsaw.

Unintentional Punsaw is probably an edgy EP released by the band Vital Hotdog Function.

Quite possibly a re-release, too.

Much outside todip.

BlitzGray, I thought at first you were re-using your historic fadeatar but then I noticed the glorious sparkles. Does that mean your summoning ability is diminishing? Maybe it's being sucked back into the original fade, it was a period ripe with delurking.

I'm even less sure than usual whether I'm making any sense. It's warm out, but the heating is still on. Silly outside.

I tried Blitzing, way back in August and September 2013, and made significant progress... and then stopped. I was too busy, life caught up with me, I was feeling overwhelmed, for one reason or another I no longer read the OTT.

Well, I'm back. The thread is even longer now, and for some reason continues growing. But I'm reading.

Love you guys. See you in the future.

Hi, monkeygentleman! So good to see you!

That's what I thought. The beesnakes have become sentient.

So, somewhere during my microblitz I saw something about having caused Th* *nd because I predicted it in an earlier post. Sorry about that. Or maybe I'm just prescient. I knew that, one day, we would see those terrible words...

Now if I could only be prescient about something like which lottery numbers would be drawn. That would be useful.

Thanks for the SilentONG era taxonomy work, @Earthling on Mars !

moody7277 wrote: That is a pretty wide channel. I'd guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 30q. If the color blue is indicative of radiation ...

I believe it's Cherenkov radiation. Megan said "wow" because she sees some cool glowing blue something in the water (Edit: Okay, green, but I still think we're being told there's light coming out of the water). The beanie might have carried the carcass here to dump it, as they have figured out that the pre-dead molpies in question may have been near lethal contmination and thus may be contaminated.
As long as the area gets enough rainfall, I suspect they're pretty safe where they're standing, even though this Cherenkov radiation is visible to them outdoors in daylight. Remember What-if 29 ("What if I took a swim in a typical spent nuclear fuel pool?...").

I was the impression that the reasoning was green = vegetation -> fresh water because they were more familiar with the hypersaline water next to their sandcastle which would not have grown anything.

Moody makes a good point. Which, due to Occam's Raptorcat, couldn't possibly be the case. Far too sensible.

The razor (not to be confused with RAZOR) isn't OTTish enough. The Raptorcat states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the most ridiculous assumptions should be selected.

Prediction: Megan's rummaging for the dilgunnerang. She'll attempt to fill it with water from the LOOK OUT! Lake. Frizzle will try to stop her, and in the resulting struggle, the Beanie will fall and break several bones and require splints and a stretcher and then Cuegan will have to carry her back to camp oh no I've gone recursive.

Not as far as my last prayer, point wise or tile wise. Perhaps an auto-save at each highest-level cascade would be nice. But alas, I must do penance. Megan and Cue. (they are just one letter away from "mean copper")

@monkeygentleman - Molpish to see you! Randalspeed! We'll be here for your Glorious Arrival into the Present! And while I'm here, we're just a few moments away from the anniversary of BlitzGirl's Glorious Arrival, so happy BlitzDix Chelsea! And Selcouth too, and PhoenixRising in the next few dix! (Boy, it seemed like they were separated by like forever... and they are so close in retrospect!) Welcome to the mip of Departure!

I wonder - has anybody analyzed the different raptor ch*rpings for location clues and raptortypes? I don't recall much discussion on that, and suspect it could be useful. Alas, my own ornithology is lacking.

Are you here, addams?
I like reading your posts.

They look like, a stream
of consciousness.
(I never get that word right.)

I got inspired by them.
In a way.

Am I doing this right?

Hmpf, post-posting I see
xe's gone.

That's a very good point, and @SilentTimer is brilliant if xe has chosen cross-cultural colour-name differences as a way to enhance the uncanniness of Unglish :o

 I think you all got me on that one! (but I still think it's Cherenkov radiation, combined with some other-language definition of "green"...)

FTFY.

Since Q04B already auto-saves at each move, I presume you mean it would be useful to auto-export, to somewhere (some sort of text block like a console log, I suppose). Note that the grid, score, best score and badges together comprise the full game data that you get from export, and all would need to be saved in a place where playing the game does not corrupt that which was saved. Thus, the need for another place to save a copy of everything. I'll think about it... I'm deep in the midst of a bunch of other stuff right now!
