I couldn't see the skulls for the longest time. Looked like fish fossils to me.I guess I'm used to bones being the white part. (Not that I'm used to looking at bones, exactly.)

My stay at Versoix has proved useless. I've realized there aren't many warriors for hire on this part of the world, and even then, I don't think there's anything I could pay them with they'd be interested in.

Maybe I should settle here, make a small fortune, and then return to retake our island. But it could take quite some time. It's not like we haven't borne this for decades now. We are good at Waiting.

For now I'll keep following the shoreline due north; that'll give me chance to think that idea through. I still have hope I'll find help. Perhaps if I look for long enough, someone will look back at me.

No, you're all wrong. The thing Ms Frizzle is holding is not a skull at all, but rather a very badly misshapen Beanie hat. It's been badly mangled by some giant Beanie-eating molpy. Soon it will return and eat everyone else. Thus end the SilentONGs.

On that point, does anybody reckon that the close-up is a bit like those ink blot Psychiatric tests? Maybe SilentTimer is doing some sort of mass-experiment on us al.

As for not following the decree earlier - sorry my MTA is not really up for doing anything significant on it. It took me most of the journey home just to type out that post!

Yay, more AotC! I assumed it had ended ****** long ago, not having seen it since I returned to the Present. Unfortunately, that jump in time now means that I've missed at least half the chapters :(

Won't somebody please think of the blitzers? The previous page is still broken. It seems there's syntax error in lmjb1964's post but I'm not sure because it's all covered in mustard. Even this submit page is broken down there.

What's that bloody mess of OTTer body parts I see in front of me? Oh, BlitzGirl returned with her Vitssagen! Welcome BlitzGirl!

Our town gives out welcome bags to new home buyers. Well, actually it's not the town but the business association (I forget what it's called) and I don't know if it's actually a bag. Mostly coupons you can't use until you can't find them.

ggh, those were some wingish manips you've been posting - you're on a roll! June Bug too - are you the new Disco Darling? Maybe that's where the frankenpost came from... the effect of disco music on man-in-the-moon marigolds. (frankenposts are basically harmless to blitzers, so I wouldn't worry too much about it NoMouse, though if June Bug fixes the tag inversion, that would do the trick.)

Aluisio - happy 1800! And looking forward to seeing how the new story evolves! :)

moody7277 wrote:My hypothesis is that was an anthill Ms Frizzle put the Questionable Carcass next to so the ants would eat the meat off and leave the bones for examining.
Quite astute - they are pretty clever molpies, those beanies!

SandCastle Builder vesion 3.52

Postby waveney » Thu Jun 05, 2014 5:09 pm UTC

This is a major revision of some draconic things, combat, rewards from combat, and the number of maps needed for dragons and lots more.

Code: Select all

#### Waveney

-    Draconic Experience is now stuff, some boosts will need this to be spent
-    You will not get things like Teeth from digging, these will now be fight rewards
-    Things like teeth will appear in the shop and have to be bought
-    If you have a tooth, when the next one is available the boost will be displayed n the shop
-    Reduced the threshold for getting Maps and the number of monuments for getting Maps and the number needed for Lodestone and the Queen
-    New 'Hubble Double' boost
-    Hatchlings due to fledge withn 500mNP will escape on loading (to reduce save scumming)
-    Hatchlings will be ready to fledge 2000mNP after they are fed rather than 2000mNP after hatching.
-    The loot search will default to boosts if you don't specify
-    The stuff numbers pane can be scrolled
-    Draconic fighting has lots of changes, do not assume what used to work for you as the nest lnings will work now.

You cannot currently:

-    Progress beyond the second type of Dragon (DragonNewts)
-    Have multiple nests (more maps will enable this in the near future)
-    Fledge hatchlings in the minus world (this will be quite a long way ahead)
-    Use the Dragon Overview Pane - it will provide a simple visual of where your dragons are. (Started, but not ready)

Good to know. I'll be sure to take a hamply with me the next time I attack a dragon.

All the ch*rping in the UNGs reminds me how quiet it here now that our little fledglings flew the coop. I looked in on them one morning, and overnight they'd transformed from little fluffballs to birds. An hour or so later there was a kerfuffle of wing-flapping. I looked and all 5 babies had flown off, just like that. Nature is amazing. The parents laid another clutch, three eggs, but then I came in one day and they were all gone. I guess something got to the nest, and unlike Megan, didn't say, "Don't worry. I won't eat your babies." :( Nature is also hard.
