Has no one noticed the alt-text!? AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! It's TH* *ND of this Time after Time!!

Thanks SilentTimer for all the great work on this. As has been said before, the story and attention to detail are on par with Randall himself. I'm sure there's a ton of things we've missed and I, for one, will be looking back through several times over. Thanks again. You've done as much or more as anymolpy to keep the OTT true to its name. And true to your name, did it with only a handful of actual posts.

Such an awesomeful story! When I get back from the trip I'm going on soon, I'm going to enjoy trying to identify as many of the molpies as I can, unless I am thoroughly ninja'd by then.

Standing ovation for SilentTimer and the Mystery Ongs!

Inspirational and spectacularly splendidly done, raising "steakish" to a new height. And the ending is quite satisfying. I consider it to be canon.

(I also find it interesting that T** E** comes just as the present becomes the future... and am secretly delighted that the hovertext seems to lie, or at least fib just a little bit. Will it end in an eponymous sequence of little lies like that? Is 1123 the new 1190? Enquiring minds need to know!

===

Eternal Density - I hope it will be able to support itself, allow me to hire somebody to take care of programming and security, and leave enough surplus so that the fate of the project is secure. But I intend to not make money off of the personal information the project (of necessity) collects. I consider that evil, and one of the reason I did this was to get away from other companies who do do that. It will also require that theaters change their ways a little bit to take advantage of the system. It's not an easy sell, because "we've done it the old way all along", and getting fully into the system takes several layers (after which everything is molpish).

So, we'll see. Right now it's running off my bank account.

edit: I see this is the future. It's pretty neat. :)

I agree with HES. Thinking back, I'm not certain that the alt-text has really had any relevance to a large proportion of the happenings in the SilentONGs. It could be that there is some slightly odd mustard going on causing seemingly random alt-text messages to appear. If that is the case, that would be pretty custard and mustard (custard because it isn't T** E**, mustard because of the epsilon-ness).

Thorpe Park is awesomeful. My university was nearby though I only had a chance to go once. The queues were so long I only managed to do the four big rollercoasters (Nemesis Inferno, Colossus, Saw and Stealth - this was before The Swarm was built) and nothing else... but those are all awesomeful rollercoasters so I'm not complaining! I wonder what an OTTish amusement park would be like...

It's not far from HESville. I once queued for two nopix for stealth (which lasts less than a centinewpix), before it broke down once we got to the front. Got to queue jump the rest of the dip, though.

Never been to Alton Towers, which is the other big UK theme park, even though it's closer to my universities.

I wonder how a sandcastle would fare on on of those swinging rafts?

Compatibility checking is a nightmare. There are far to may browsers out there! Next someone will try to open it in Lynx. And once you fix that someone will try Links. And then someone develops a new browser that chirps other things up.
You are making an awefulsome game. You are doing it for free. There is no need to apologize for some mustard. When making hot dogs some mustard may be spilled. I am grateful that you are willing to spend so much time to make this game.

Thanks for your understanding. Henceforth I shall refer to the game as a hotdog.

Cool, but I thought the bolded part went without saying.
I hope to do something similar (build web services to help people and make an income, though a completely different kind of thing) so I hope yours works out well for you.'

Also I'm sad that newpixbot ninja'd me with T** E** and I didn't even noticed it was at the time :(

ETA:
I scrolled down and it wasn't T** E**, that'll teach me not to blindpost :P

In RELATED news, two of the categories in the Jeopardy hotdogshow tonight were "Oh, Look at the Time" and "Here's Your Hat."

Also, the 408 errors for the fora are normal now: they're part of whatever measure davean used to prevent spambot attacks a few mips ago. I get them occasionally.

I don't think I have the legal authority give consent on behalf of as-of-yet unborn progeny. You'll have to run ahead a bit and ask her yourself.

I've never been very good with bicycles—whoever came up with the idea forgot that some people have tails. Ch*rpin' two-wheeled death machines

Didn't mean to trigger an obligate response. But I am glad to hear that you feel positively about your datemorphic encounter.

I'm not typically so impolite as to ignore a direct request. If I came across as begrudging, it's only because I'm a little reluctant to discuss personal affairs that involve people besides myself on a public forum.

The FUUUUTUURE!

[sorta edit]
408 Request Time-out

Your browser didn't send a complete request in time.

I blame AUTOMOME

I don't - no automome script here, but I still get that error all the time, most often after submitting a post.

Also, nooooo not the End

I manually chose that one after a few clicks because it was funny (the script doesn't always work) and then I got the 408. Epsilon.

A game. Originally applied to Sandcastle Builder, but since generalized.

Code: Select all

- isFinite() works on more browsers than Number.isFinite. Okay.
- a missing space in sand purifier description
- DoN doesn't always lock on load

Sorry about that, I should have done more compabability checking :(

(and many more "sorry's" from ED)
Compatibility checking is a nightmare. There are far to may browsers out there! Next someone will try to open it in Lynx. And once you fix that someone will try Links. And then someone develops a new browser that chirps other things up.
You are making an awefulsome game. You are doing it for free. There is no need to apologize for some mustard. When making hot dogs some mustard may be spilled. I am grateful that you are willing to spend so much time to make this game.

Thanks for your understanding. Henceforth I shall refer to the game as a hotdog.
I love how you found and posted that in a 15th of a nopix!
