I was in a car accident mumble, mumble yips ago, and an x-ray showed some bone spurs on my neck vertebra, so when I say I can feel your pain, believe me, I can, because my neck has similar problems. Good luck on getting it taken care of.

t1i – T** **dversary

One year ago, SilentTimer wrote:

T** **dversary is here.

The Making Of can wait for it.
I must post something now.

On 8 July 2014, ggh wrote: Do you get to rest now, SilentTimer, you beautiful thing?
I did. Image

Yes, I wanted to prepare the Making Of t1i.
But this moment belongs to Time.

What can I write?
Spoiler:
T** **d is a very personal thing. If I write how I experienced it, it will be a unique story. We all have our own unique stories.

When I see those Time frames again I can almost feel like in 2013. When I Blitz the OTT of 2013 I think the same thoughts as I did in 2013. Almost a thought transmission.

Hey, that's what I can do. :)

SilentTimer wrote:[…]

I like this. :)

Hmm… it also tells something about t1i. It doesn't tell how I made it, but something which is at least as important: why I made it. How it began.

Hey, that would be a molpish title for my posting. :)

Okay, that's it. Back to the Making Of.
But now, after experiencing T** **d again, I feel a big void again. Image

Hmm… I have that thought transmitter now. Maybe I can use it to write the Making Of? I Blitz my notes⁵, and I transmit my thoughts from the past to the OTT.

So the Making Of will consist of thought transmissions from the past. Molpish.

That way I'll post the first Making Of one year after I started making t1i. That's in October. Which means for now: Wait for it. Molpish.

*waits for it …*

Hmm… that reminds me of something …

Oh, Wait.
Let me share a molpish happenstance from yesterdip that happened to me.
I went to one of those "big-box-store" home improvement places (I wanted to find some new lampshades; replace ones destroyed in a previous move and an old one that's been in bad shape ever since I found the lamp in an apartment mumble, mumble yips ago.) Didn't find any shades at that place%, but when I was trying to find my car, I spoted something green on the ground. A $5 dollar bill. And while a fellow over in the next row was commenting on my good luck, I spotted another $5 dollar bill. (Grand total $10) I did look around (a) for the hidden camera; (b) somebody looking for something; and (c) MORE of them. [I did tell the other fellow, as I'm putting them in my pocket: "Somebody seems to be shedding money."] I just hope it wasn't somebody last $$ until payday.

% or any of the other four places I stopped at.

Reposting an epilogue poem from last yip I wrote for the event of the epilogue:

Our Castle

So the raft drifted away
But we're still here treading water
Floating on a gentle sea
Dreaming of the long-lost castle

There'll never be one last and lonely otter
Without someone left to talk to

We watched from distant shores the rising castle
And in its shadow we began to play
Waiting for the promise of what might come to be

And still we thought it was about the castle
We'd analyze and criticize and break out a line-plotter
Keenly watching grains of sand and images we thought we knew
Accrue, what else were we to do about the castle?

Slowly we began to say
This is something new
Gradually we came to see
A sweetness to our disarray

And even if the raft moved on we still would have the water

No castle
Made from sand can be expected long to stay
But now there is a home from cobbled bits of "us" and "we"

It's not a real castle
But those are overrated; give us one down by the water
Made of posts, acquaintance, hopes and patience that we will pull through

Oh, my. It has been two years. Two years, with the Time thread a permanently open tab in my browser even though it may have seemed I've been in the basement most of the time.

mrob27 wrote:Did you use #Cueless# or #Snake!# or #Chirpy# at all?

I didn't use Chirpy at all and I hoarded Cueless and Snake! boosts until I saw a situation where five or six consecutive uses would greatly consolidate my position.
There must have been a bonus of at least 8 or 9 hundred of each on getting the "Goats" tile. Wealth beyond dreams.

Ummm... I used one Snake! and one Cueless to recover from a finger-slip "Game Over" with only a slightly guilty feeling. Still enjoying the game.
Purrr.

I just gave myself permission to try Q04B.

Baobabish and wowterful, mrob27, but rather too temporally seaish for Outside-challenged folk who have an e**ish tendency to be captured by hotdogs.

I shall admire from afar and applaud MistyCat's efforts.

As username wades through the semencoffeecancerbaconstarsandbabiesonice, I'm a little concerned that their blitz rate is insufficient to condiment.

That is sad but as long as they're having fun it is not a major problem.

Greetings, everymolpy! And welcome back to my fellow debasementers.
Blitzgirl, thanks for sharing your epilogue poem again; somehow I missed seeing it last time. Very wingish!
Here, have some redundant icecream:

I'm not feeling very creative right now, so I'll try remixing some lyrics instead.

And in other news, I've finally put the code for my molpish LED text-scroller on GitHub
I really should make a video of it. (I say that a lot, about many various things (but maybe it will help this time))
Hey, now I'm feeling endish too :(
And I need to molpy down, but don't worry, I'll be back.

New othercomic, and it's an OTColored! (Just minus the OTC, though it uses an OTC).

And wow MistyCat! You go!

The seasishness is not temporary. You will be assimilated.

And welcome back. Also welcome back tman2nd, EarthlingOnMars, ZoomanSP, Sciscitor, and any other recent visitors from the basement that I might have missed. nd whatever happened to Hillperson? That was a wingish OTColor!

Wow, my not-so-subtle misquoting scheme seems to be working! We just need to hear from the dragons now...

<q.MistyCat:There must have been a bonus of at least 8 or 9 hundred of each on getting the "Goats" tile. Wealth beyond dreams.:>
You get a Snake credit and a Cueless credit for each 10,000 points, and the Goatpy tile is worth 2^{22} = 4194304, but the other tiles in your cascade leading up to the Goatpy would add up to about another 4 million; so yes, I'd say you got about 800 Snake and Cueless credits. (And your total score ends up being just about 22 times 2^22, a bit over 92 million points)
