It throws a Download at me!
Without My Permission!
Inside Spoiler is a Poster Complaining.Spoiler:If I am at risk of Surprise Downloads,
Then I can't have the Fun of clicking links.
I like to click links.
I like to see what strange and wonderful things Posters make or find on the Internet.
I am taken aback by Surprise Downloads.
If I want to attach something to a bsta frame.
How can you get it other than by downloading it?
Everything you see here was downloaded by your browser. But most of the time it doesn't tell anything about it.
hm, looks like the only change is that the .wav files are now .mp3...AluisioASG wrote:Try these, addams:Spoiler:
You get on your bike and start moving towards your destination
You also start whistling.
You continue cycling.
You also continue whistling.
You continue continuing cycling.
The continuation of whistling also continues to continue.
Oh no, not this now!
But it helped.addams wrote:Much Better!
Now, I can click happily.
Ah, ok. It all makes sense now.AluisioASG wrote:Technical explanation:Spoiler:
If you are are reading websites,
every link you click is downloaded by your browser.
That's how it works.
what happens next depends on what is being downloaded.
If it's a .htm file then it's probably another website, and you will see it displayed on your screen.
If it's a picture then almost certainly it will be displayed too.
Some other kind of files the browser will not try to show you but instead it will ask you where to save them. Some browsers download and save things without even asking you where (and if) to save it (I don't like this), this can be changed.
Some of the currently popular browsers will play an .mp3 file directly but will not do the same with a .wav file.
Attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4 are .wav files. Attachment 0 is a .txt file.
There will be no play button.ggh wrote:a play button on the original BSTA page
There was already a play button (and 5 other buttons too) but it did something else.
Oh no, this is not g good time to be pope.
So I will only say this:
BSTA doesn't have a play button
so don't try to press it.
