Standard Rules

2. Please stay on topic at all times.
3. Lurking is frowned upon; if you need to drop out, please let me know as soon as possible. If someone feels that another player isn't contributing to game play, please make me aware. Modkills will be handed out if replacement cannot be found without regard to balance.
4. If you aren't part of this game, please do not post in the thread.
5. You’re alive until you are hammered in a lynch, or the mod tells you that you're dead, by PM or in thread.
6. If you die, don't say anything for the rest of the game except a simple, "Bah, you got me," which reveals no information.
7. You may not post verbatim or quote from your role PM or any other messages sent to you by the mod. Paraphrasing is fine.
8. You may not edit your posts.
9. You may not play to lose, act in a way that is clearly against your win condition or ruin the game for other players.
10. You may not use encryption systems in order to communicate privately or circumvent these rules.
11. Please make an effort to include me on all PMs. Mistakes happen but make me aware if they do.
12. All votes must be bolded and on a separate line. Unvotes are preferred but not required. If I miss something, let me know.
13. This is a game; it’s meant to be fun. Personal attacks or other offensive behaviour towards other players will not be tolerated.

Game specific rules:

1. This game is nightless so PM me actions during the day. You can change at any time before deadline. (You may submit actions after a hammer for 24 hours or until the normal deadline).
2. If the votals are tied, then random.org will randomly select one of the tied players to be lynched. No Lynch always wins ties.
3. There are no powers that change when a hammer vote is reached.
4. There is no cult.
5. If there is a Jester then they will roleblock all of town if they are lynched. They will lose and die if they are not lynched before D3.

First thing that jumps out at me in setup is rule about Jester. If present, Jester is very anti-town. If we lynch them, we're roleblocked for a night; if we don't lynch them, we lose a player D3 anyway. There isn't really any good way to deal with them.

Hammer is when someone receives the majority of the votes (50%+1). At that point day ends, changing votes is not possible and players may not post.

L-2 means 2 votes less than required for hammer. L-1 is 1 vote less.

During the day phase players are lynched if a majority of players vote for them. Right now there are 9 players so 5 votes is a majority.

L-2 means 2 votes away from being lynched, so 3 votes right now means that only 2 more votes are needed to lynch someone.

Hammer means the "hammer vote" which is the final vote. In this case a fifth vote for any one player would be "hammer". Once someone has been "hammered" the day ends immediately and votes cannot be changed.

Well, let’s see. No one had a suspicious confirmation post.

Setup. Per the sign ups, simple powers, possibly some vanilla roles. Per the game specific rules, no cult. I hope rule #5 is a joke, because jester is an annoying enough role in itself. Per rule #2, tying the votes won’t stop the lynch. So I’m going to say 7-2, or 6-2-1 where independent is not anti-town. Need to think about this a little.

"Simple powers" makes me assume we have a cop and a doctor (or one of the two), unless equating "simple" with "standard" is a mistake. If two mafia then probably no godfather (since that nerfs cop too much) unless there is an anti-town independent and cop detects town/anti-town rather than scum/not scum. Three anti-towns in a nine-player game is probably OP though.

@heury: why did you unvote in your first post? In light of BoomFrog's promise that no power affects the votals (paraphrased) I doubt you have some similar role as LaserGuy did in Shakespeare.
