Zen pulling a YOLOSWAG there? I mean it's obvious she's scum but does it really prove connection to Spak?

Zen built the case very late D2. He was trying to counter Moody with Jim. D2 he focused on his own defense, and then came back and posted the Spak case. Again, I don't think he expected the Spak wagon to take off. So it was easy for him to sit on it. Him suddenly having doubt on Spak gives support to him not really wanting to go into the Spak direction. There is progression on Spak yet he was prioritizing Jim who I felt wasn't as convincing as his Red Ryu read or Spak read.

I don't know what you mean by 'pulling a YOLOSWAG'. Can you clarify?

I'm heading to bed now. I will check in one last time in about half an hour to see if it is safe to switch my vote or not.

I think Gamma is indie. But that would mean there are two lyncher type indies if there is any truth to his claim. So much is weird about Gamma's posts I really don't know what to make of it. He doesn't make sense as town, doesn't make sense as scum and doesn't even make all that much sense as indie.

Putting my trust in Sabrar and EGW here.

Evil George Washington wrote:My impression was you were deliberately stalling. There was a gap between Tuesday September 19 and Saturday 23 in your posting. You use too many excuses. You don't ever focus on giving a reads list, and you vote Gamma without having any progression on him. I agree with Zen you aren't giving subjective opinions of others, IE: reads.

I can't really say anything aside from me being legitimately busy. My Gamma read developed from his generally angry attitude towards everyone, his reads seem to be based almost entirely in OMGUS, and the way in which he's approaching the game seems off. I haven't seen him scumhunt at all this game, and while I haven't commented on it to this point because I have been absent as well, he's been fairly inconsistent as far as in-thread presence.

jimbobmcdoodle wrote:Spak, if you look set to be lynched, are you willing to judgement vote Amrock? Will you be around near-ish deadline to do so?

I'll just go ahead and do this:
Judgement Vote: Amrock

It looks like I'm by far the second most popular lynch option behind Gamma, so I figure I'm the judgment vote.

OK, now I'm at L-2. That's a rather quick, interesting change of events. I guess I'll claim before the curveball wagon rolls over me:

I'm Steve, the Town Jailer. I can build someone a jail, making them immune to night actions, killing or otherwise. Global or passive abilities still apply to the game. I have a second ability that permits me to destroy the jail at any time. I am only allowed to use this ability (building the jail) once per game.

Just gonna say that that EGW swing looked unnatural. I'd look into him if Gamma flips scum. Pretty much accepted my death at this point. I genuinely feel bad about being so absent throughout the game, but I guess a burst of activity doesn't make up for half a week of being completely absent. I'll make sure to be on break before signing up for any more big Mafia games.

Oh, also I still think that Gamma's claim is a load of garbage. Glad I could get at least some content out there before getting lynched :D

Since we are lynching Spak now, Gamma should take the hit. I'm not confident it'll hit both, but it's safer that way. (Since Spak will for sure die via lynch)

Evil George Washington wrote:Zen, Peaceful Whale, Bessie, and Red Ryu?

Zen - His content toDay seems a lot better than yesterDay where he seemed scrambled and seemed to be making wild stabs in the dark at people without much direction. He has been focusing on me for a while (also pretty much the only consistent thing through his D1 play), but I can't tell if that's because my inactivity made it look like I was trying to dodge questions and lurk or if he's just tunneling. I thought the case on me was exaggerated and didn't necessarily represent me fairly and didn't really have a rebuttal to my response to the case (aside from the Sarbar justification that I just realized I forgot to link to, but was shocked while I was looking for it by the fact that I was suddenly above Gamma in votes). I appreciate Zen swapping to Zen so that Gamma and I can both go down this round, and am honestly surprised that you're still trying to get me lynched now that I've committed to hammering Amrock. I thought Zen was scum throughout the end of D1 and start of D2, but I'm not sure anymore. His frustration with your complaints as to his activity seem genuine, and I don't think that someone trying to piece together a puzzle who already knows a lot of the pieces would get this frustrated with such a complaint.

Peaceful Whale - Recently fairly inactive due to IRL Johns, I see a lot of similarities between Peaceful Whale and me in Revival of DGames (with him admittedly more optimistic and trusting). I'll say noob town on Peaceful.

Bessie - Bessie has been a hard slot to read the entire game. I've agreed with a lot of her statements, but have found myself coming to different conclusions consistently. I can't give you specific examples because I simply don't have the time right now and I'm not sure if she just naturally views the game from a different angle, but I've followed her logic and can see her coming from either a townie perspective or scum who has an underlying agenda that naturally intertwines really well with what observations she makes. She gets behind in some places, but I think that's because she actually has a life rather than trying to just 'get by.' She's also not afraid to voice her own opinions on matters and seems to arrive at her reads independently of others, which if arrived at naturally, usually are a pretty good indicator of town in my book. I think she's either town or playing scum REALLY well.

RR - He's playing like I'd expect him to, I've followed his reasoning and arrived at the same conclusion as him in nearly everything he's voiced, and I think he's town. He's one of my strongest reads.

Oh, and Town Cop Sabrar in Shakespeare said he did an early meta read on Madge and was right. He stated it here:
Sabrar wrote:The game is Shakespeare. I already got called out once about not being able to shut up. So we arrive at a situation where people are suspicious of Madge who I strongly meta-read as Town. I make a post in Gojoe about showing the willpower not to defend her just yet. This is me 40 minutes later because I was bored at work.

I disagreed that it would be legitimate, but he gave an example of himself doing it in the past as town so I counted it as null.

My N1 action was nobody because I wanted to save it for when I had a more of a solid read on people. I can only use the ability once per game, and the person stays jailed until I unjail them.
