Oh, good, you too! I usually use Miracle Whip, which I don't think it too different from salad cream.
I also enjoy putting whichever little bag of chips I packed on my PB&J. I don't do potato chips, so that means Doritos (Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese), Cheetos or Fritos.
My dad makes brie and raspberry jam sammiches, which are quite good.

Regarding pineapple on pizza, I'm fully opposed, but I have noticed a bias. Whenever a group of people are ordering pizzas, if one single person doesn't want mushrooms or onions or any normal style pizza topping, there isn't one, but no matter what protests are raised, as long as two people want a Hawaiian, there'll be one.

Gah! I almost forgot: French dressing on white rice. I only ever did that in high school, but it got me to eat my rice (though at this point it was devoid of any nutritional value)

Everyone I know has always called me insane for loving PB & salami, finally I know there's a kindred spirit out there! I like my foods fairly simple though, so I don't put the jelly on there.
Pepperoni slices with peanut butter works just as well, as a snack or a meal.
I used to love Easy Cheese (the canned spread) on chocolate chip cookies, but restrospectively, I think it was the drunkenness talking.

hm. no. vanilla yogurt on chocolate chip pecan cookies is not as wildly delicious as i had imagined. not HORRIBLE, but i dont think i'll be going out of my way to make it again. maybe if i froze the yogurt...

My favorite sandwich, I have been told, is a bit strange:

Cream cheese with curry mixed into it, chopped walnuts or pecans, cranberry sauce, spinach, sprouts, yellow raisins. Sometimes a veggie pattie or sliced raw carrots. Preferably on whole wheat sourdough bread or a bagel.

I am of the opinion that few things cannot be improved upon with cream cheese, curry and cranberry sauce. The whole berry kind, not the jelly kind.

I can see how people would think it's strange but it seems like it should work. Indian food works with sweet stuff, usually.

Likewise, when I have a new food-combination-related "idea" I usually end up profoundly disappointed. Turns out that bacon and hot dogs don't go that well together. Maybe it's just me.

I am eating a hummus and pate sandwich right now. It is like the champion of vegetarian food, the nutritious and wholly fulfilling chick-pea spread that everyone loves, squashed beneath the ugly liver paste that many carnivores consider 'just a little too gross'. Two spreads, two philosophies, one sandwich.

Can you find a sandwich more antithetical in topping than that?

Oh! Milk chocolate covered pretzels used to be for sale here! So so good.

A good friend of mine dips the long pretzel sticks in various kinds of chocolate and then drizzles or sprinkles them with a different chocolate, peanut butter, sprinkles, crushed candy canes etc.

My favorite sandwich when I was in grade school I only ever made when visiting my grandmother's house. It involved rice cakes, deli meats, pb&j, mustard and lettuce. It was hard to fit in my mouth but totally worthwhile.

Yesterday Sarah and I had cream cheese, muenster cheese, tomato and spinach sandwiches on bulkie rolls and they were way better than I expected. The cream cheese was very reminiscent of mayonnaise except with the added bonus of not being mayonnaise.

My favorite snack lately has been cold cooked spinach with sliced beets on top, and a smidge of salt. I think it's awesome, but I was thinking about how funny it would be to offer that to a little kid as a yummy afternoon snack.
