A small furry mammal not that dissimilar to a otter?

and there is where there is always confusion. Tex-Mex is not Mexican food in the sense it is cooked in the same way as Central Mexico. It happens to be a regional variation that has quite a bit in common with Moroccan cooking(see styles and the use of cumin). While I do enjoy Mexican food, I also enjoy the Texas regional variants quite a lot.

How does one in the United States of America not know what a burrito is? That's quite comparable to not knowing what ice cream is.

Oh, and the fact grandma can cook better generally goes without saying. Got the best present, by the way, when she handed me a copy of her cookbook(as in the one she wrote her recipes down in).

Interpreting a post by SexyTalon.

A post by SexyTalon will be one of four things - an semi- to well-informed bit on the topic at hand, a single or series of questions asking someone to further clarify, a statement of personal opinion, or whatever fucked-up thing I happened to come up with for the sole purpose of seeing if anyone will take the bait so I can dick around some more.

I believe you can figure out from here which category my last few posts have fallen in to.

I'd say so. Admittedly, took me a while to realise the weren't talking about Burricks. Which isn't small nor furry, but is an animal.

The Arrogant Worms are at least 43 distinct flavors of awesome.

The Last Saskatchewan Pirate is genius, but I'd say that my favorite of their songs is the version of "Dangerous" that they recorded on their symphonic album.

I'm.. not really proud to be an American. After getting off of the continent for my first time earlier this month, I wish I could live somewhere on the coast of Wales. Even London's not that bad, and I normally hate cities of any significant size.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, Ohio does have a few nice things about it:
* The Cleveland Orchestra is one of the best in the country, and the only one that has been favorably compared to European orchestras.
* Ohio's a microcosm of the US as a whole, and as a result a very important swing state in elections. No Republican candidate has won the national election without Ohio, and the state has gone to the overall winner in all but two elections since 1892.
* Apparently Ohio has some of the best hospital and public library networks in the country.
* Ohio is the only state with an official rock song (Hang on Sloopy).
* Ohioans like their football. If it's Friday (high school), Saturday (college), or Sunday (pro), they're willing to watch it.

Eps' post about the UK made me proud to have even lived there at all. Utah is...okay, I guess. It's better without a lot of the people, but it's still currently balls-cold and I can't get over that. But cool things about Utah:
-A variety of natural beauty (if you're into that sort of thing). I much prefer Southern Utah's red rock formations to the Wasatch's "We got big ol' mountains," but mostly because I live in the latter mountains and am bored of them, and Park City has ruined me for skiing and skiers forever.
-The freaking Bonneville Salt Flats.
-Being a landlocked state with a Sea Gull for a state bird.
-As much as the Great Salt Lake is a super crappy (and stinky) spin-off of Lake Bonneville, it's cool to be able to easily find us on a physical map.

My list for Salt Lake is much much much better, and I'll do it later.
I have nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion.
And some old pictures.

Well in Northern Kentucky we have some good chili foods that I'm told other people don't eat. Don Showalter of the World of Chemistry videos is from Louisville, KY and we did nullification before South Carolina made it cool with the Kentucky Resolutions. I think Fort Knox is in KY but it might be in Tennessee either way I'm going to claim that makes KY rich and powerful.
