two things
1, The Virgin Islands thing was hillarious, atleast the initial thing, the "comeback" was weak.

I have to own up to not paying enough attention. I was so consumed with my war against the bots I allowed my location notifying to collapse.
Also, while you are in Fife, keep an eye out for a girl called Louise Pettigrew, if you see her let me know.

We should have tea and crumpets some time.
Indeed, we must have a jolly spiffing time around a roaring fire and eat jolly buttery crumpets and rather nice cup of earl grey.
(I rarely pay attention to peoples location, the map makes it easy for me to see...thats my excuse for only just noticing!)

I was in London last night for a Superbowl party.
I'm in Hamilton.
Also, I noticed the lack of coasters, really the lack of Canadians in general on that thing.
Although there seem to be a few more now, with the London one and the Oakville one, both of which are just up the road, essentially. I mean nearly a third of the Canadian XKCDers on that map are from Ottawa.

Very cool, Hawk.
I added myself. The US and Europe are fairly well packed. I shall terrorise all the Europeans when i make my way over there in September.

I fly into London on September 4. Going to be doing the backpacking thing so i plan to get out of London fairly quickly (so expensive!) and into the countryside. I hear York is lovely.
From there I want to do Scotland (mainly Edinburgh and the Isle of Skye), France (Paris and some of the wine regions in the south, the French Riviera, Nice),into Switzerland, Austria and Germany then a train down to Italy (Venice, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Naples, Pompeii), a ferry across the Adriatic to Greece then back through Amsterdam to London and home.
Plan on traveling for 2-3 months provided i can get the cash together for it. I've booked and paid for flights, insurance and pre-travel gear so now i just need to get some cash together over the next 5 months for accom/food/sights.
That said, I hold dual citizenship (Britain/Aus) so i am going to try and get work in the UK at some stage and maybe stay there until January/Feb of 2008 before heading back to Uni to finish up my degree.

I had to google "Chav".
It seems like something out of a British Comedy. Or a story you tell to foreigners to make them think the UK is some crazy country - similar to how i tell people that i ride around in Kangaroos.
Are Chavs for real? Mental.

I added myself, for no particular reason. Hooray for no ocean! But I wish I did live near a coast, I like the ocean. I am thinking of Seattle, or Victoria if the US continues to alienate itself from the rest of the world.

I'll be studying in Valencia, Spain this summer...I'm doing my best to swing through Paris and London before I head back to the US, and I really want to get to Ireland, but we'll see how much money I have left at that point. Then it's back to Iowa for good old RAGBRAI (look it up; it's probably the most fun you can have in this state).

Awesome, at this point no one on the map is within about a thousand miles of me.
In the future, there will be a global network of billions of adding machines.... One of the primary uses of this network will be to transport moving pictures of lesbian sex by pretending they are made out of numbers.
