Feeling clever, I left a reply "no one of consequence."
I was surprised to find a counter: "I must know."
To which I could only leave "get used to disappointment."

I was thinking "The Garden of Proserpine" by Algernon Charles Swineburn (I like him), I don't want to do something really well-known (liek "The Raven") but I do want something interesting. I don't know if anyone would ever read it, but someone might, and maybe they'd like it. Any other suggestions?

I can't parse that. What's it (supposed to?) mean?

But my school is being remodeled (ie mostly torn down) next year, and since I'm about to graduate, I want to leave something excellent. Any ideas?

I think it should be "ego" rather than "me" ? Because "sed" is a conjunction, not a preposition. And "omnes" rather than "omnia" - everybody rather than everything. (Maybe "murae" should be "muras" too?) But it's been a while since I've done Latin, and Latin graffiti doesn't always have correct grammar...
Anyway, that'd make it "Everybody's writing on the wall except for me..."

Thank you!! I actually love that quote, it's wonderful. I like how he was so witty and basically most of the things he said still hold true over 100 years later. <3
Dingbats wrote:"Everybody writes on walls except me" would be "omnes in muras scribit praeter me", I think, but I'm not sure about whether mura should be in the accusative (muras) or ablative (muris).
EDIT: Am I stupid? SCRIBUNT.

I'd go for ablative, but it's been a while.

No one will go here then- xkcd actually looks quite a bit like a porn address.
I actually drew that a lot in high school, but mostly on my own folders and the sort. I really had no idea of its origins but it's rather addicting to draw. I suppose since it's a rather accepted an anonymous form of graffiti, you can break the rules (graffiti is vandalism) without going outside of accepted norms (it's already everywhere and is mostly harmless).Roland Lockheart wrote:I plan to bring back "Kilroy Was Here" from the 50's. Yeah, the computer is using it's free will to display "Hello World" over and over again.
