Hey everyone!

I'm 24/f (soon to be 25....... too soon for my liking!!)... Currently living in NYC... just moved here from Australia (Hey! So nice to see sooo many Aussies on this forum!)... :)

I was lured here by the latest comic... like many others... and I too read the comic in one night when I stumbled across it 2 months ago and have been a follower ever since. My total count of people converted into addicts of xkcd currently stands at 6 ;) And they all went back and read the whole thing too! ;)

How old are you? And what's the legal age in America. It's only 16 here, so is that the same as England? America has funny laws....you can drive, but not drink, and possibly not have sex, as a teenager. How on earth then are you going to have drunken sex while driving?

Sex- 18. The crime is when someone over 18 does it with a minor. I don't think anyone cares if both are younger.

And the legal drinking age is 21, but mostly it depends on when you can get access to alcohol ;)

In Texas, at least, there are also issues when the age gap between partners is 3+ years.

Hello everyone, I have finally plucked up the courage to join this here forum. Have been reading for a little while now (the comic that is, not the forum in a stalker/lurker fashion.)

Anyway, I'm female, I'm 23, I hail from Liverpool, UK studying for a degree and generally pondering the meaning of life.

Pleased to make your acquaintance (in advance).

Caesar is very grand for a salad related nickname. The other options aren't really that attractive though: potato, Waldorf, egg . . .

Waldorf! what a brilliant idea. although, if it really bothers you, we could call you astoria.

Aw, man, you got me with the out of context quote.

Damien, Waldorf or Astoria is better than Caeser - I'm not sure where it stands on the grandness scale though? Waldorf/Astoria > Caeser?

I'll have to get some new alcoves ready.

Oooh, not to mention the fact that we're running low on "So, you've been forced to join the xkcd collective..." brochures.
