Well, to be fair, I'm going to the Manchester ones. I'm not really down with the information for the London meets. Tottenham court road is mentioned, as is QVS. The next one is this saturday, after that the 12th of July. Starting time is traditionally 11AM finishing is "officially" three but it's drifting towards the later end of 4 now.

Holy damn buckets, why'd nobody bring this to my attention sooner? What, you'd think it should be up to me to regularly check my own thread? What kind of monsters are you people?

I'm in London right now and I propose a meetup in the next forty-five seconds. I'll also be handing out copies of my newsletter; it's called the Daily Felstaff, and is available biannually. It's also badly photocopied, making it look like underground Trotskyist political literature.

We were in the passionate throes of reading the Daily Felstaff, which explains why we emerged from the bushes with red, sweaty faces, and clothes on backwards/inside-out

Because you can't read the Daily Felstaff without breaking into a sweat. It also advises you to read it in bushes, whilst adjusting your clothing so it looks dishevelled, for reasons unknown.

Could I propose something for next week?

Beers [etc] in St James Park (on the deck chairs), then onto Chimes: as is tradition this time of year in London [for grads and students and the like].

Week starting the 23rd June.

Is anyone else in London at the end of the week? Wed, Thurs, Fri, etc?

Soz, we had a BBQ over the weekend and we swore we would keep on cooking/eating until all the meat had been consumed (Did you know that Asda do 20 sausages for 80p?). GKT, KCL, BBK, UCL, UCD, QMC. And who-ever said the Colleges don't co-operate... everyone hates the LSE!

And Imperial, apparently. But to be fair, we have technically left the University of London (even though my degree will still be from Imperial College, UoL).

I, sadly, am unlikely to return to the central part of London now before October. If sufficiently large-scale plans for a meetup are made, I may just be able to attend, but I'm also fairly busy until early August so I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Thought I'd give the front page a fresh lick o' paint.

Anyone up for those pubs? I realise my meeting place ideas are generally alcohol-related.

I should be free tomorrow.

Nice revamp of the topic :)

I'm still at work in Sweden and won't be back untill August but when I do get back I'll make sure to arrange a London pubmeeting.

I suggest a pub or similarly casual meetup on Friday 11 or Friday 18 July.
I would suggest Hyde Park but the 11th forecast so far is miserable and from what I hear it is unlikely to improve until next summre :|

Come on people let's make this happen.

I have work, so no worries*. 7 is the earliest I can really reliablybe in the city. I come into King's Cross if I come from work so where? I only really know places in the West End and city. And Hyde Park.

*Cue hilarious age mismatch initial akwardness. Felltir, I'm like old**. Prepare yourself.

OK so that's Moo, Felltir and electoralfraud so far. Felstaff won't know until tomorrow so he's down as a maybe. Sadly Robin S can't make this Friday (although he says he might be able to next week, 18th - I can't but there's no reason you other guys can't meet up again).

Friday's forecast atm is light showers but let's meet at Hyde Park and if the weather seems too miserable we can always find a nearby public house or such. Where and what time? I can only be there somewhere between 7 and 8 (sorry) so if you guys can do it earlier arrange amongst yourselves. Queenspark is my easiest stop so I suggest the entrance closest to there out of pure laziness; if you have a better suggestion feel free to make it.

I will (if I remember to bring him!) have Beanie Cow with me in what I hope will be plain sight. Otherwise just walk around randomly asking every late 20s overweight white female with curly shoulder length brown hair if they're called Moo :D
I have cow earings and a cow watch but that's not overly noticable... cue someone being thrown out of McDonalds for peering at everyone's earrings lol.

Cannot come. Regret signified by the following emoticon --> :-(

Please can be making next meet up Thursday, yes? I could never get the hang of Thursdays, so am usually 100% free. Also Thursdays are sacred in my religion, so must be celebrated with the adding of cola to whiskey.

Ah. My regret at your inability to attend lends some sadness from your emoticon and expresses it thusly: ;_;

Thursdays are a touch harder for me but I will keep this in mind and make a suggestion when my calendar clears up a bit. Ditto for Saturdays (more fun in parks to be had on Saturdays than rainy Friday evenings).

Oh frigging Hell, by a strange chance I am IN IMPERIAL COLLEGE RIGHT NOW while you people are frolicking in Hyde Park. Boooooooo and I have no way to contact you. I should have checked this thread more. Curses. Well, if you suddenly check the fora at this meet up of joy and want to come to Beit Hall (Prince Consort Road, near Kensington Gardens) feel free to throw things at my window etc. *sigh*

Although, you know, no Felstaff viewing means I remain free to fantasise about him and his fragrant beard.

It is fragrant, and absorbs 46% more moisture than Bounty®: The Stronger Soaker Upper

Anyway, I trust Hyde Park went well? Pix Pls or it didn't happen.
