Well, here it is, this is where you come to recruit and organize continuous games.

Currently we use:
the server irc.foonetic.net
channel is #xkcdmafia
losers lounge #xkcdmafialynched

NEWBIES! THIS IS HOW TO TRY OUT OUR CHANNEL WITH NO DOWNLOADING!
Click here. Fill in the Nickname box as ANYTHING you want (please be nice and not use other users names(oh, and it can only be characters and numbers, no spaces). Click connect. And you are in. Simple as. No need to register, no need to download anything. Simple as.

First think that you need is an irc client. If you are running windows, mIRC is probably the best option... you can get that here

once installed, silknor has explained how to set this up.

OK, and now my 2 cents... with help from mega (Thank you mega!)
You can actually connect to the IRC server without installing anything!
You can do it all from the browser you are using now!
All you have to do is join our channel (our chatroom if you will) and we can begin! YAY!

From a web browser, goto http://www.mibbit.com/chat
In the "Connect to IRC" Drop down box, scroll down (to the general heading... quite far down) to irc.foonetic.net
In the "Nick" box, type what you want your user name to be
in the "Channel(s)" Box type #xkcdmafia
Hit the go button... and BAM YOUR IN!

Come join the fun

Games last from 20min to about an hour and a half depending on the game style (dethy is quick while a "normal" game can last much longer)
We usually play games quick fire one after another for a few hours, you can drop in and out any time you want.
