Not really. I would guess that somewhere between 50-100% of threads have gotten a spam reply to them at some point or another, based on how much of the shit I've deleted.

At most, I would say that the irony is just noticeable.

Actually, it's more ironic than that considering the discussion of this topic, though most of them have gotten spam lately.

However, it's not the biggest of the spam ironies.

The wording of the penalty is not clear if a person *has* posted in the intro thread, but hasn't yet gotten ten posts.

I would have summarily deleted "Marten (the great)"'s post, except he posted in the intros thread, and the nerf thing was kinda funny.

Ok, well I understand the reasoning, on this, but it could lead to someone just posting 5
useless posts,...any way I will introduce my self first, I am Garry,
this is my first time here....normally I would say to see more about me,
visit my webb site...I guess I will just have to wait...
In the meanwhile I can look around, and see what I find, that I may want to comment
on, I don't like spam either, and I don't believe ,in posting meaningless posts, just to
get 5 posts in,...so I need to find stuff I am interested in posting too...

They need to be posts that contribute to the forum, and five posts in this thread are probably not going to contribute too greatly. We also don't allow double posting, as there is an edit function on each post. (I know that yours were only just approved though, so the double post is understandable here.)
