Yes, I so have Schroedinger in my avatar... It has nothing to do with my role though.... I think that OOTD was just saying GOJOE IS DEAD. GOJOE IS NOT DEAD (as a joke from my avatar...) Also, I do not think that OOTD cares if I used the color yellow... Also, no yellow was used in my multicolor text ironically...

Now, I would normally say I think you guys are being way too quick to jump on Gojoe's bandwagon. When someone says "XXX is scum." this early in the game, I'd be inclined to think a bit before just going "Sure, lets vote for them!"

Although, from an impartial point of view:

It seems very likely drconcon is some sort of... wait for it... DOCTOR!!! If he were pro-town then he's going to be a very valuable role for the town. He's the sort of role that a mafia would target instantly, even if it means that they seem guilty the next day. So it's not surprising, if gojoe were mafia, that he says "Lets get drconcon!" even though if drconcon were pro town, his death would immediately throw suspicion upon Gojoe. It's probably worth it, for a mafia member, to get rid of a likely doctor.

Now, as I say, I happen to know that Gojoe is telling the truth (note: this means that if drconcon turns out to be pro town, you should lynch both me and gojoe). So I'm not paying attention to the logic I just posted. But I want to get you guys to start thinking about things more, so you should read over that and think about it.

I'm wondering why everybody is so eager to jump on the Drconcon bandwagon? I mean, why believe some roleclaim. I think Gojoe could be scum who has a day role investigation and found drconcon to be something like the SK. If Gojoe was scum and catches the SK that's major townie points for him.

I'm sorry, maybe I totally missed it, but where is the logic about Drconcon? All I hear is "gojoe knows" "nebu knows", etc. How do you know?

For me, it is more FoS on Gojoe. What is it with the Drconcon bandwagon that seems to exist? I guess if someone could post the logic for Drconcon I may be inclined to go along with voting him, but until that time I'm not comfortable with that.

OK, here's the thing: I agree with everyone!

As I said, I an pretty certain that drconcon is anti-town. Certain to the extent that unless the mod is lying to me, he's anti town (although with OOTD that's always a possibility). However, I don't know anything about Gojoe. I voted for Drconcon because I knew he was anti-town. At the same time, I'm suspicious of Gojoe for randomly plucking out drconcon. I think it does seem like a good target name for an anti-town player, because there was a good chance drconcon is a doctor based on his name.

So, here's my current theory:

Drconcon is scum. He is part of the mafia. As I say, I know this because of my role (which I'm still not going to tell you - sorry, I don't think roleclaims are ever the way forwards. Because whenever someone roleclaims I immediately think they're guilty. I'm looking at you, CVsoul.)

I theorise (although I can't check right now) that Gojoe is also anti-town. However, he is probably a serial killer, or some other anti town role not associated with the mafia. He thought it'd be good to get a pro-town role - like the doctor - out of the way. He therefore targetted drconcon. Of course, I've now said that drconcon is definitely guilty. But Gojoe can hardly change his vote now, otherwise he'll look hugely guilty.

So, I think what I'm asking myself now is: do I want to get rid of a mafia member, who is probably not hugely powerful at this point in the game (yes, the mafia can night kill, but killing one of them isn't going to stop this) OR do I want to get rid of some lone anti-town player (who probably has a more powerful role than drconcon since he's not a member of the mafia).

Now, naturally, if I put it as simply as that, I want to get rid of the lone player. Only problem being, I'm not 100% sure that the lone player is anti-town. I am 100% sure that drconcon is anti town. SO!

For the time being:

Unvote Drconcon.
FoS: Gojoe.
FoS: Drconcon.

Thanks for the post, Nebu. So you are asking us to take you on your word, pretty much, that Drconcon is mafia. I actually tend to believe you on this, however Gojoe is just too suspicious for my taste. So for now....

CVSoul, you claim you are a cop...now I may be newer at this so I am missing something, but in my understanding cops can be good or bad. And some are sane, some insane, etc. Also, why would you want to die, as a plain cop investigates at night. I guess unless you are one who investigates after being dead....but in that case why would you not specify more than just "I'm a cop"?

Hello, I just read over the past several pages. I am glad to see some people aren't just hopping on the bandwagon against me. Are we sure Nebuduck isn't a paranoid role or something? Because I can assure you I am town-aligned, though I won't say exactly what my role is just yet (I'm sort of like a doctor, but not... A doctor with a twist!). As for Gojoe, I don't know what to think yet.

I'm pro-town, but can be roleblocked tonight at the loss to the town if I'm not lynched.
Chances are I'll be both blocked and assassinated tonight because I was a moron and posted at all.

I didn't specify more before because I didn't think it was necessary during that specific post. I'm more informed now. So, I spoke more.

I'm discarding strategy because I'm only effective after death and would like very much to get to work immediately.

After reading all of this and getting some reply posts after mine...I feel like I have to go with my own gut about Gojoe. Reasons? See my posts but the Schrodinger references are odd, and he hopped on the Drconcon bandwagon but now hasn't really posted about that topic. I am not convinced about Drconcon, Nebu is a little suspicious too with being so for getting rid of him. And I tend to believe CVsoul that s/he just kinda screwed that up but I'm not comfortable with voting them at this point.

Or am I misunderstanding the whole dead/alive distinction we have going on here?

Augh, how many posts must I make?
My first post, roleclaiming I was a cop and bandwagoning, was made with the intention of getting killed overnight by the Mafia.
However, shortly after that post, I found out that my ability can be canceled at night. So, I deduced that whoever had that ability would read my name and my mini-roleclaim and ruin my game from the start.

So, I started my desperate and likely unnecessary attempt to get myself killed so that I won't have to just die and sit out-- I wasn't originally planning to vote for myself this round, but now I'm trying to out of self-preservation.

I'll stop posting now, but hopefully this is useful.

ootd: Maybe I'm not clear on the rules. If I'm revealing too much, feel free to D/Q me.

No. But if for some reason I DID do a beyond the grave role here, I think that there would be some way to communicate... would be rather useless otherwise. But as it stands, other than "=( I'm dead" etc posts, the dead can't post here.
