My schedule is.

First Semester:

1: AP English III (Language and Composition)

3: Pre-Calculus Honors
4: Physics Honors

This semester I like everything. I'm a fan of History and the teacher is REALLY cool (not as cool as my AP World teacher but I can deal). Office Aide is kind of boring but the lady I'm office aide for is really nice. Choir is always fun. Chemistry, once again AWESOME teacher and a fun subject (watching gummy bears explode haha). Algebra 2. Well, the teacher is okay at teaching. She makes some funny comments, but not as intriguing as my other teachers. I like Math as well as Science so the subject material is interesting.

Next semester. AP English III. Oh god. I got the hard teacher and I'm coming from the normal Sophomore English class instead of Honors, so I'm already behind most of the students. SAT Reading is going to be kind of lame, but I'm hoping the teacher is cool. Pre-Calculus is more Math. I hope the teacher is more like my Chemistry teacher or my US History teacher. As for Physics, this is what I'm REALLY looking forward to. I can't wait for this class.

AP Computer Science is easy enough, plus I have my track coach as a teacher. Latin's turning out to be easier than I expected, so no complaints there. Literature's a bit too abstract for my liking (I like abstract, but this stuff's just downright out there), and almost seems like we're doing a bit much, even for an AP. I'm liking calculus, but then again I've always gone for math. The workload for physics is ridiculous, but I like the class itself, so I'm sticking with it. And the last two are the requisite religion classes everyone has to take, and they're not sorted into any type of tier system, so they're easy as usual. So four easy classes and two pains in the ass; not too shabby.

So far I'm liking English the best because I've got a really good teacher. Physics, Computing and Modern Studies are going pretty well because I've got pretty good teachers and I like the subjects. I'm hating maths this year, my teacher is a psycho, she can be really nice one minute then turn on the whole class the next for no apparent reason

1. regents physics (I should probably learn this stuff before AP. Easy, at least so far. I love physics as a subject, and the teacher is awesome.)
2. gym is a requisite class, alternates with a second period of physics every other day
3. global history 2H (wishing I'd taken AP World instead, but only because the grades for that are curved more. The hardest class I'm taking, I think. Interesting, but I don't know how well this teacher's method (talk; have us take notes randomly) will have me retain information which could be a problem as he doesn't review)
4. lunch/orchestra alternating (I like playing music. Orchestra is fun.)
5. concert band (Every day I wish I were in a higher level band with a different teacher. Next year... for now this is okay.)
6. math 4H (essentially precalculus/some calc, prepares for AP Calculus BC. Fun and easy.)
7. Italian 3 (I am taking the state-mandated exam for a distinguished diploma and never taking Italian in high school again. They don't offer honors and the class is so slow... I sit near friends and we always talk.)
8. English 10H (Boring and I hate the teacher. We aren't reading anything good this year, the class moves too slowly, we have stupid arbitrary requirements. I know the definitions of words and how to read and write, mmkay?)

I'm a Junior in high school and this is my daily schedule. Only changes for second semester are that Psych 1 turns to American Government... I wish I could've taken more classes...

Hour 1: Physics- class is kinda slow.. I wish I would've taken honors
Hour 2: Psychology I- I love this class... amazing.
Hour 3: French III- heehee... there are only 10 people in here, including me, and we're french 3 & 4 combined XD
Hour 4: Writing for Media- I love writing for the newspaper my teacher is amazing and we make food and eat everyday XD good considering I don't actually eat lunch.
Hour 5: Writing for Media
Hour 6: PE- bleh. Dull. And I have a tendency to fall or get hit with things and die XD
Hour 7: PE
Hour 8: Lunch- oh dear lord... that is it the most insane thing I've ever been forced to sit through..
Hour 9: Brit Lit- same teacher as writing for media, so she loves me and I get away with a lot more than I probably should be able to XD
Hour 10: Pre-calc Honors- this is my absolute favorite class ^.^ Math is my best subject and my teacher is amazing.

*note* hours 4 - 8 are only half periods, hence the repeating so the lunch hours aren't too long. Our school has it set up so that we have the absolute shortest lunch periods that they can legally get away with. And they are VERY uneven. Theres two lunch periods wiht less than 50 kids in them, and 2 wiht so many, that some kids just get to buy their lunch when teh bell rings so tehy don't get to eat more than a bite.

The rest of my sciences were taken last year due to manipulations of my schools guidance department and an utter disregard for pre-requisites, and a lack of more AP courses is the only reason I'm able to fit in the bird courses. It has being said that I am taking the toughest course-load possible at my high school, which is known for having higher-level courses than the equivalent ones at other high schools in the area.
