Tonight's comic will be a few minutes late!

Is there a point to the "I accidentally the whole thing," besides sheer inanity?

How do you throw a cat off the top of space? And does said cat have a caption glued to it?

Title text: "Interestingly, on a true vertical log plot, I think the Eiffel Tower's sides really would be straight lines."

Wikipedia says that's wrong; there's two exponentials, so it'd be a sharply broken line.

Today's comic was pretty nice. It's always heartwarming to see a comic writer feel free to indulge in some in jokes if it isn't too often.

Plus the Snoop Dogg joke was pretty cute and it was pretty helpful in orienting me as far as Star Trek space and actual space go.

It's clearly a prank, involving a reference to the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" /b/ prank... but I have no idea if there was a point to it or not.

Honestly though, I found it just as funny as the comic itself. Maybe because I'm so used to seeing forum posts and such where people the verb like that. Not on purpose of course, but... just, how do you the most important word in a sentence!?

First GOOMHR, I recently have had to present a poem I wrote about the Burj Dubai (lower left corner) several times.

Albeit, if you draw a cross-section of the universe, there will be a lot of things referenced.

<shameless self-promotion>
While I realize this is my 3rd, not 5th, post here's a link to my poem if anyone's interested:

This is very odd. I was literally just watching a movie the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum made back in the day which is just like this.

They zoomed out of a 1 meter circle by powers 10 until they hit the end of our visible universe. It was kind of cool. I was watching it on Hulu. It’s called “Cosmic Voyage”.

They also then zoomed into a cell by powers 10.

The graphics aren’t this best when compared to what they can do now, that and it says Pluto’s still a planet, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

OH, and I agree w/ the poster request as well.

Well, if the universe has positive curvature, and lots of mass, given enough time, it'll just hit Black Hat Man in the head.

There was an essay question for the University of Chicago application about a very similar, if not the same, video as this. I think that film was called "Powers of 10."
