It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

Here's mine. I think the sloppiness is part of the charm, don't you? :

And the original for comparison:

This is OT, but I saw Supertramp's Breakfast in America in a used records store, and the California cover just has to have been inspired by that album. Look at the menu the waitress is holding.

It's either a coincidence or an extremely subtle reference.

(Unless you have a ginormous monitor, you'll have to do a "view image" on that one to see the menu, btw.)

This is such a friggen great idea for a thread.
Here's my funbaby:

And the original for reference:

I'm not gonna lie: I'm pretty happy with myself right now. ^_^

Also, big and shiny props to le_gardenhead for doing Ys. Awesome album, ludicrously intricate artwork.
The amount of love represented in this thread for Mr B's California is hella-gratifying, too. I've been trying -- mostly vainly -- to get people to understand that album's pure kickasscocity for years now.

Used Pixen, which is like paint but with layers (no paint on mac). All pixel-by-pixel, plus a few solid color fills.

Not in MS Paint, but I did this a while ago for a friend on Facebook in the Graffiti program, which is basically as difficult to work with as MS Paint is:

You sonofabitch.

You realise my CD collection is currently located at the very back of a cupboard, engulfed by teeming, teetering items. Somewhere, in that vast expanse of materialist fodder, is that goddamn fucking album, and I'll be damned if I go searching for it at this time of night just to remember who/what it is.

I came back here to post that.

Don't make me delete your post and edit my own. Now change yours to say "It's Rumours, by Fleetwood Mac", so I can offer a modest rebuttal.

The answers are getting harder and harder
And there ain't no way to bargain or to barter
But if you've got the angst or the ardor
You might faint from the fight but you're gonna find it
For every challenge could have paradise behind it
And if you accept what you have lost and you stand tall
You might just get it back and you can get it all
So now you know why it's a long way to fall
Yeah cause it's a long way to fall
