Oh yes, that can be quite addicting. I find myself readdicted every now and then. I've never broken 40 either.

Hmm, it does seem addictive. On the train back home I must try if it works on a phone.

I don't know. It was made...baobabs, 7 yips ago.

That sounds like an "as real as possible" thing. I personally never liked those shows and movies. If it could happen in real life there is no need to turn it into a movie. Just live the real life and have even more fun (and some nice hauptic feedback at that). I prefer movies and shows that show me stuff that can't happen IRL.

Your Post Haunts Me.
I would like to discuss it.

It is too serious for a comic thread.
Such a difficult choice.

TV and Movies.
I have been told,

"If you do not watch The Screen,
you are derelict in your duty as a Citizen."
"A Citizen has a duty to be Informed."

I have given it some thought.
I think being Informed may be a good idea for Citizens.

TV and Movies?
TV and Movies are like Religion.
We go off on Imaginary Flights of Fancy.

Pretty Music, Pretty People all dressed up in Pretty Clothes.
So, nice. So, possible.

Then we switch over to Reality! TV!
ahhhh. People are learning Manners and Social Sensitivity from This Guy!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mYP7eiz5Co

I have seen shit on TV that would make Nelson Mandela look white.

The other choice.
The Internet??

I suppose I like the Internet.
Am I better informed? Maybe.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8t53Ak_ ... 0upQILfLL1

I like the internet better than TV.
The Internet is like TV in some ways.

Where is that Comic?
Male explains to Female,

"I spend my life pushing buttons to make lights appear.
Today the lights are All Wrong."

Another Choice?
The Void??

Endless Time....Without you?
Spoiler:
No, Thank You.

What do you want to do, now?
Life is, just, an exchange of electrons; It is up to us to give it meaning.

Some of us see The Stars.

Not really a blitzreport #2

Postby balthasar_s » Tue Jan 14, 2014 5:39 pm UTC

This is not really a blitzreport#2, np58 from balthasar_s and bothasar_s:
Image

Almost no blitzing progress (6 pages, not much changed) but it's because I was busy programming bothasar_s. His code is written in C++ and AWK. There were things I did for the first time, (OTT makes me learn new things!) and I'm almost sure that some parts were done exactly how they shouldn't be done. But the code loks as if it's working and bothasar_s says everything is okay.

So, when everything was ready (finally) I told him to begin his job. I came back later and noticed that instead of writing reports he's just riding in circles on his bike.

Don't you have some work to do, bothasar Why are you riding in circles?

Code: Select all

It's fun!

One does not ride the bike just for the fun of it. One does it to achieve xis goals faster.

Code: Select all

You mean, for relocation? That's what teleportation is for.

Teleportation? What's the fun in it? Besides, I wouldn't give you the ability to teleport even if I could.

Code: Select all

Of coures you wouldn't . If you did I wouldn't do anything else than teleporting myself all day.

Like, where?

Code: Select all

To the same place where I'm already standing! So nobody else would notice the teleport.

Okay . . .
We shouldn't waste our time on this discussion. You're late already.

Code: Select all

Am I? Then how can you explain the fact that I already created all the reports while you were talking to me?

Internet magic or some oth... Wait, you didn't create any.

Code: Select all

No? So what's here on 1190.bicyclesonthemoon.dnsd.info/bothasar_s/ ?

1190.bicyclesonthemoon.dnsd.info/bothasar_s/? Wow, I didn't notice the javascreports before. So, what are we going to do now?

Code: Select all

Do what you want, I'll just continue riding in circles and pretending I'm teleporting

. . .

As you can see, now I can see replies from the present. The reports are a bit different than these I received from mrob27. - more redundancy. Now, when I'm not programming bots anymore I have more time for actual blitzing. The next report will be sent from somewhere closer to your present.

End of almost a blitzreport #2 from balthasar_s and bothasar_s.

Not quite. I believe achieving the highest level of OTSOM also involves an additional layer of "pretending you know exactly what's going on" atop the confusion.

Yes. I'm doing it all the time. I always pretend I understand my posts . . .
Spoiler:
Actually it's the posts who pretend they understand me.

For the Cueball name/title discussion:
"cueball" is an adjective!
So, when you call him Cueball you're right because he is very cueball indeed. In fact, he's the most cueball of them all.
How cueball are you?

Mrorl27 wrote an OTTification of "How the world was saved?" from "the Cyberiad" which is one of my favourite books ever. And I liked it very much. What he didn't know is that I wrote a program that reduces the number of colors in images (this or this are examples) some time ago. So it's even more RELATED.

I just don't know what to say (like always)

Bathing in tea now, Megan? Well, I suppose it can't be worse than semencoffeecancerbaconbabiesonice...

And YAY the place where I live got a mention!

The lake district and tea. Two of my favourite things combined.

Fun fact: This album cover I designed for my ex-band WolpyThwapstick is based on a photo I took at Ullswater. The viking ship was photoshopped in, of course...

I don't know, some of my British companions can be persuaded very easily by tea. (Ninja'd, of course. I'm horribly un-british in that I don't drink the stuff myself)

Now we know why Cuegan were so happy to taste the sea. Were we wrong? Was it sementeacancerbaconbabiesonice? (Also slightly ninja'd. In my defense, I got up and made crumpets half way through)

Let's play Dream or Reality
1) Two guys pulling along a dwarf on a skateboard
2) Spider Hamster, Spider Hamster, does whatever a spider hamster does...
3) Horse arrives, begins headbanging along to the music

That sounds like an "as real as possible" thing. I personally never liked those shows and movies. If it could happen in real life there is no need to turn it into a movie. Just live the real life and have even more fun (and some nice hauptic feedback at that). I prefer movies and shows that show me stuff that can't happen IRL.
Ditto, if something doesn't have a scifi element (or some unrealistic or speculative element) why bother watching at all?
