Yes. That is what I was referring to in my post, to which you replied with a few questions, and which I then was unable to find again to answer.

In reponse to Gingercat's decree, I mentioned this film, "and especially the last few frames...". I was referring to the different version of it that blinks before the end of the film. Brilliant!

Now that I know where to look, I'll have the rest of the answers soon.

Another possibility (at least in theory), though maybe not as challenging, would be to cut the record off the wall (and then patch & repaint it).
Feasibility depends upon the composition and ownership of the wall in question, and the number of records; and you'd still need to make a custom player for thicker records...

I think there's a wall full of records. I suppose if you're going to do one, might as well do the whole sea.

Time is measuredH in seconds, and 1 Ω = 1 V/A = 1 kg m² / (A² s³).
So if we set 1 Ω = 1 s, we end up with 1 s⁴ = 1 kg m² / A².
In other words, a neat second is the same as a kg, multiplied by a small metre, and divided by a small Ampère.
Conclusion: If you keep your small current proportional to the mass times the small length, you get a neat Time.

Yes, seems likely!
Also, previously azule also was not in the ott while drawing.
But then returned with big posts full of comments and replies.
Will we have this again?

About the redundant redundant test screen in WHYDTMT: Somewhere ago I posted a link: 1190.bicyclesonthemoon.info/a/whathaveyou.zip. There are all pictures and recordins used to make WHYDTMT. The very last frame is also there: redundant2.bmp. Most of the recordings are a little longer than what later became the actual film. For example, in kompx.avi you will notice that I was not alone when recording it. There is also something similar for "Blitzposting".

I dug Sustainibilizer's analysis, but  I'm shamed by how long it took me to figure out why a square meter was a small meter. I was perfectly willing to accept, however, that a second to the 4th power would be called a "neat second".

BlitzGirl wrote:I hope so! It worries me to hear that he faked his death upthread somewhere. Image

When he didn't check in in a few days, I combed the California fire obits for a while. I don't know azule's outside name, but there was no one who fit what I think I know of him. I'm very glad for SBN's confirmation.

The forum migration broke it, but for many things Google searches actually work pretty well. :)

For example, I just found this post:
On Thu Jul 04, 2013, SBN wrote:

...butOf course, as a parent you have to live with the knowledge that any time something may happen which could make you all tears. Did not happen, so far. Thank, well, heresy again, god.

Somehow, as a parent, one of the things that moved highest on my list is little kids singing. Any little kids, singing anything, and I'm done. My own kids are well out of the age range to trigger it, but I still cry when little kids sing.
which I've been thinking of recently, because the Little Wonder has been singing lately. I wonder if the Little Wonder's singing would make SBN cry, and if so, if it would be the expected kind of crying. Poor kid - she may have inherited her vocal skills from me. Sweet bald-headed Cue, she sings like Mumble in Happy Feet.

I wonder if the Little Wonder's singing would make SBN cry, and if so, if it would be the expected kind of crying. Poor kid - she may have inherited her vocal skills from me. Sweet bald-headed Cue, she sings like Mumble in Happy Feet.

This is new... I've never cried when reading about little kids singing before, but randamnit I just teared up.

Funny, 223 newpages seems like nothing now.

Aw, that's treeish. I hope they were able to see all of Time, even if their signatures are stuck in the Past. (Without the ability to search users' posts I'm not sure if they appeared later in the OTT somewhen.) And baobabs, 223 newpages is only about 9% of the current OTT!

oh, Dear;
That sounds serious.

Waa! I don't understand the problem!
How serious is it? Is the Mirror broken? Really?

I wonder, I will miss it?
I've not developed the skills to use the mirror.

I would very much miss the Posters that do use it.
I would, also, miss the rest of xkcd if it broke, too.

My little one sings often, and always sings when she is on the swing. Such happiness, it's beautiful. And if I try and film her on my phone, she notices and keeps trying to sing... But laughs so much that the singing is impossible. This fact amuses her all the more, so she laughs more still!

And with that...

I!

Have!

Arrived!!

My Blitz is complete!! The entire OTT up to this point, every word, every OTTification, every Double Dactyl, the entirety of the Mystery (Mastery) Ongs - the lot!! Nothing skipped or skimmed!

Would one of our Resident Statisticians Extraordinaire please enlighten me as to roughly how many words that actually is?

Then our other Blitzers who reach this point can know as well.

GO, MY FELLOW BLITZERS! You can make it - I did!

Welcome Gingercat, BlitzGirl the Next! What a totally awesomeful quest you have embarked upon, and completed this dix! Don't mind all the molpies scurrying around dusting and cleaning - they are just making for a seaish celebration. You just relax, sit down (not in the comfy chair, unless you like being pelted with chocolate!), and enjoy some molpyberry wine. 10 Innocence is truly a dix to remember!

The Pope's around here someplace - you'll get to meet him real soon. You know what to do. :)
