I have just now, 19 April 2016 14:14 Pacific Daylight Savings Time registered to the xkcd forum to follow this commandment.

I wonder if the station is till up and active three years after the OTC has been. I'll see in some three or four months or so as I continue my archival dive/blitz at about ~25 newpages per work day. If anybody is still out there to see this, "HI".

Thanks, addams!

The "weird haiku" comes from a project by Angelastic in the earlier pages of the thread. She wrote an app that searched all of the text of the thread for unintentional haiku in people's posts. The largest collection of discovered haiku can be found in her post on page 401, in the spoiler.

Spoiler: Where iskinner says a lot in his second post to the xkcd 1190: "Time" thread and the forum altogether

Spoiler:
This answers a question I have deliberately left unanswered to myself since I started my archaeological archive dive-blitz of the One True Thread sometime late last year (Fall 2014 [Northern Hemisphere]). I now know there is continued activity on the One True Thread of time, nearly three years after the One True Comic stopped delivering NewPixs. Until this moment, I have intentionally not noted the number of posts/pages in the thread so as to not see if they continue to change. I am not sure why I chose to do this, but I debated myself for several minutes before I created an account to post my passage of the first beacon because of the high probability that doing so would cause this result.

I am definitely feeling some bitter-sweet melancholy now that I know. It has changed my perception of my experience of this thread. But that is the nature of time and life. It constantly changes and is never the same as it was. My original purpose coming here was to get a sense of what it might have been like to experience 1190: "Time" at the time that I missed out on when it happened.

Two answer a Papal Decree not too far in the past of my personal timeline of time, "How did I first experience 'Time'"? I came late to time. I believe that I saw a few -- two or three -- frames of time when it first happened. I was not a regular viewer of xkcd at that time. At the time the one true comic was being presented my life is quite tumultuous: I was staring a new job, moving to a new house, and starting a new long term relationship. Some time in 2014 I did of full archive dive of xkcd, as I tend to do when I start a web comic. At that time I was reacquainted with 1190: "Time". I used one of the collections, Aubronwood I believe, to review all the frames of Time. I enjoyed it, but I could tell there where A LOT of details I was not catching seeing each frame so briefly. But I moved on and finished my archive dive of xkcd and then moved on with my life.

But the comic stuck with me. Some months later I went back and did the collection again. The did a google search and found the explainxkcd site, and the geekwagon site and finally this thread. And I started reading. I have been doing that for over six months now, with a couple of month break do to major bypass surgery at the turn of the year.

I plan to continue to work through the thread. I find it very interesting to view all the content from the view point of knowing what the full comic is and what it represent and compare that to the many views expressed by you all and everybody else who posted here at the time who did not yet know.

Even spending more time than I sometimes should, I am really only scratching the surface of all the awfulsome materiel that exists in this thread and sometimes skim parts to be reviewed more closely later -- maybe, if I can find the time. I sometimes think that this deserves a detailed, deliberate, slow review of everything. But when would I have the time! That would be a full time proposition.

A warning: I currently do not intend to look at any notifications or personal messages until I at least reach the current present of my Beacon post from yesterday. I still wish to keep some sense of not knowing the past future. Of course, being human, that could change at any time.

With that I will now stop my personal dump to complete strangers who I have just met/will meet/have met in the past or some other weird temporal verb conjugation of the future present past or something.

I wonder if we should post another Beacon somewhere around this point in the OTT, since it's showing no sign whatsoever of stopping.

Welcome, Blitzers, to...

Behold the gingerness!

Beacon Ginger!

Please be certain to forwardpost your reaching of this very self-referential beacon on your Blitz, so that we in the future-soon will know of your brave progress when you arrive in the nowcurrently-now-but-soon-to-be-past-but-still-the-"present"-for-you. (Chronophrasing is hard...) Having read absolutely every bit of the OTT myself so far (around 2400 pages were a years-long blitz!), I can't wait to welcome more folks on the same journey!

Please do forgive the very self-referential nature of the Beacon Ginger; it was too much fun to pass up since it fits so very well with the OTT's running themes.
