Actually, better I just leave my vote on Boom in case one of the remaining players comes in to counterclaim.

Just skim-read Hari's posts to look for partner links, and I stand by my earlier not-LaserGuy buddy read. I also don't think BoomFrog is a likely buddy. Otherwise, I could see anybody as being in a team with him. Interestingly, and I can't remember if I noticed this before, but whilst reading him, I noticed that he barely mentioned Peaceful Whale during the majority of D1, except to offer advice. It does raise the likelihood of Hari being a buddy, and I'm now starting to lean towards Hari being scum more likely than LaserGuy, based on that skim. I don't particularly trust this read, but still:

And that's why we shouldn't have deadlines on weekends. And that's what BoomFrog should have realized and why he should have made his claim earlier (if true).

I want to NO LYNCH today

This is the best way to untangle this.

Anyone who is voting to active lynch someone should better prepare a thesis on why that's a good idea or I'm coming hard after them tomorrow!!!

Addendum: should there be a counterclaim today we'll lynch BoomFrog. Should both remaining players post and decline to cc then we lynch LaserGuy. However if at least one of {HS, MOA} doesn't post before deadline snd there's no cc then I want to NL.

PR-claims and counterclaims simply need to be resolved before MYLO/LYLO.

Current Votals:

LaserGuy - 1 (BoomFrog)
BoomFrog - 1 (LaserGuy)
No Lynch - 2 (Sabrar, jimbobmacdoodle)

Not voting: Hari Seldon, cemper93MasterOfAll, bessie, flicky1991

With 8 alive hammer requires 5 votes. Tied votals will result in no lynch.
Deadline in one hour or less.

Note that posting and voting may continue after the deadline until a mod calls night (or there’s a hammer vote).

Basically, my reasoning is this (I was ninja'ed by Sabrar with his points, and was in a lecture, so didn't have time to mess about and update).

Lynching LaserGuy today without MoA posting means that he could counter-claim (truthfully or otherwise) tomorrow, and we won't be able to mislynch safely. By No Lynching today, we can confirm BoomFrog's claim, or force scum to do something that gives us more information.

Ninja'ed by Hari claiming.

You did mention this before, and the reasoning is faulty as that is likely to be the case with anyone who I was leaning toward the Town end. I can't say for sure, but I think if you did the same analysis for Flicky, Cemper, or Bessie, you will find similar interaction. I just naturally tend to interact with my Town reads less, because I am not actively questioning of pushing them.

It's interesting that you have twice now tried to lynch me when I didn't look to be here.

Also please feel free to point out any breadcrumbs you left for just such an occasion.

Sidenote: I would ask the same from MOA but this is one aspect of the game where the replacement really hurts. Actually:

Would cemper be allowed to communicate a potential breadcrumb to MasterOfAll?

Good Sunday morning to all. Apologies for not posting Friday night, but I was a bit burnt out from the workweek and just didn't feel like sitting in front of my computer. And, yes, that deadline was an inconvenient 6am Saturday morning in my time zone.

But, it seems like it worked out pretty well. We were most likely going to want to no-lynch at some point to get to an odd number of players. Except it seems like we have an effective cop, so we still have an even number! Hah. I suppose it is possible that scum withheld their NK, but I can't think of any good reason for that.

As for cemper being able (or not) to tell me about his breadcrumbs, it really doesn't matter, as I highly doubt that he left vanilla townie crumbs.

Yes, I am not the Doc. So it seems that we have 2 confirmed townies now. And I am guessing that BoomFrog protected Sabrar, although he might have self-protected (is that allowed in this game?).

Ha!

I have so much to say and no need to say it.

@Hari, I wasn't trolling you, everything I said was sincere. But I did realize your voting preference on reread, so that might have made my questions disjointed. You have a very gentle way of expressing your opinion, but the miscommunication was mostly my fault. I often have a change of perspective, then want to know a piece of information and I ask about it instead of rereading looking for it.

This game is running a bit longer than anticipated. I leave for the states next week to visit family and will likely not be online much, if at all, during that five day period. Would you all prefer that I seek replacement now or wait to see what the situation is like as we approach that time?

I would prefer you keep playing, at least through the next cycle, and then see where we are at. With no flips and (possibly) no investigation results, there’s not as much to analyze today. But maybe ask wam and see what he wants to do. We might not even have another replacement available.

I can think of one weird edge case for scum to withhold, but apart from that, I don't see why they would have (assuming BoomFrog was predictable with his action). I can explain why, but there is a slight risk that it gives scum ideas they hadn't thought of. I think it more likely BoomFrog was successful in his protection.

Still with my father today, so no real time to think or post, but should have time tomorrow evening, after he's left. Would anybody like me to address anything in particular? Otherwise, I'll look at Hari some more. Still convinced scum is between Hari and LaserGuy, with one of bessie, MoA, or flicky.
