Actions
Spoiler:
1: Grab Left-Down
2: Attack Down
3,4,W: Move Left-Down
5: Defend Up

Thoughts
Spoiler:
- Either a counter-grab or a disrupt,
-Assuming no sudden Patzer/321 coalition to make it messy, the best defence here is a good offence.
- Consolidating, but had considered things like a LU-Push to make things interesting up there. Might have caused me difficulty, though.
- To stop the easiest kills Patzer could have tried, there. Sorry!

5 Grab Down-Right
Reminder to h_a - while I'm fine with attacking faubi, I can't attack Soupspoon because of the alliance.

Everyone has posted moves, so I'll post the next turn tonight.

Spoiler: At least one death occurred. You all attacked someone, but who scored the kill(s)?

Turn 9

Image

Commentary:
threetwoone finally manages to nail patzer's 4, securing their first kill.
three of emlightened's pieces try to enter the same space, for unknown reasons.
Soupspoon decides the best way to defend against a grab is to grab back, avoiding losing their 1 to heuristically.
threetwoone continues to stand still. It's unclear if this tactic will continue to work now that fewer of patzer's pieces are in grabbing range.

Ok, moves:
Spoiler:
1: Attack Left-Up
2: Attack Down
3: Move Left-Down
4: Grab Left-Down
5: Attack Up
W: Push Left-Up

And the chatty bit, full of hopes and fears:
Spoiler:
I've almost swept away as much of the local opposition as I can attack. Maybe time to regroup and trek around, or something. But there are surely going to be vice-versa feelings.

My combo with #1+4 is a terribly obvious move, and Heury#4 may well guess right and kill My#4 with a clever counter, but I imagine it's at least as tempting to set up an assist with Heury#3 (either way) to try to attack Faubi#2.

I'm going to persist with #2 (and resume with #5), right now, and maybe give my W something special to do. (If 321 assists, I don't even have to be all that successful locally). But if I were Patzer I'd definitely be thinking about making a back-room deal with 321. Maybe engineer an 'oops' moment of a handy two-party 'surprise' grab-and-attack between the three respective #2s? And all without directly breaking any truce. (Which I'm sure is only active at the moment through habit.)

Not using Defend at all this turn. I've a feeling this might be the most dangerous move for me yet, though, so could easily be the start of my inevitable downfall.
