You know, I'm not really sure what "socioeconomic class" I am. I'm richer than my parents, I don't have a real job, and my mannerisms tend to match up with whomever I'm talking to.

...is "con man" a social class?

Kate Nash
Death From Above 1979
Avenged Sevenfold
The Hives
The Postal Service
I can most accurately describe Death From Above 1979's genre as "Heavy Indie Alternative Progressive Punkcore Dance Funk Metal"

How the hell can you be listening to Foxtrot AND Invisible Touch? It's like listening to Fragile and then Big Generator or something.

Not at the same time... (I can listen to pretty much anything though, look at the rest of the list)

EDIT: I haven't heard Big Generator, should I?

EDIT 2: Also, some random non-rock stuff I've been listening to include Kanye West's Graduation, and random classical and jazz.

Of course not at the same time, silly.

It's an album by Yes. It's actually pretty alright, but nothing compared to their former glory.

I've been quite enjoying:

-Bomb the Music Industry
-Weezer (Red coming out made me go back and listen to Blue/Pinkerton again)
-Isobel Campbell/Mark Lanegan
-Buddy Holly
-I'm From Barcelona
-Les Savy Fav
-Mount Eerie
-Pelican

Over the past week. It's weird, I should be listening to more summer-y music, and the only two that really fall into that category are Bomb the Music Industry and I'm From Barcelona. Maybe Les Savy Fav.

Currently I'm loving Alamaailman Vasarat.
Finnish jazz-punk-gothsy stuff.

I regularly listen to Weird Al and Lemon Demon, as well as The Aquabats.

Panic at the Disco - Pretty. Odd.

Didn't think I'd really like this, but their sound's changed and I'm really getting into it.

Saron Gas - Fragile

They're a little South African band with some really good songs. I like "Fine Again" a lot.

Also Giles, Giles and Fripp is ridiculously awesome. (edit: and I have recently been listening to them :P)

"Rodney was a sad young man because he was fat and ugly and no one liked him. Children ran up to him in the street and pointed and shouted, "Rodney is a sad young man because he's fat and ugly,'' and then they ran away laughing. Rodney shouted, "I will chase you and hit you and make you cry,'' but as Rodney was so fat he could not run fast enough, and the frustration of complete impotence made him even sadder."
