http://www.xkcd.com/c262.html Title text: Hey, at least I ran out of staples.
If this actually happened, the time until somebody Photoshopped silly captions onto pictures of cats struggling with the glued-on paper would be measured in milliseconds.

I like the return of Hat Guy, and let me just say that "I'm in ur topic, posting ur new posts". I'm glad Hat Guy ran out of staples, and he didn't think to go to Staples.

I love this particular comic with the same fervor with which I loathe the trend it mocks.
Alt text is weak though.

I had.
I liked this comic a lot, especially since it finally provided me with an avatar.

This reminds me that every time I spam, god kills a kitten.
And that my cat's thinking "ORLY?" 78% of the time.
John and Mary had never met. They were like two hummingbirds who had also never met.

I've mastered all but one form of punctuation: the semicolon.

I'd tip my hat too, if I had one on.

For the record, Randall did say that "text photoshopped below cats" is his favorite Internet meme at the MIT lecture.
Also, I CAN HAZ HAMBURGER? totally didn't invent it. If I had to guess, I'd attribute it one of the big three of memes: SomethingAwful, 4chan, or YTMND.

Limecat! How did I forget limecat? Tagged, thanks sir.
Personally I'm a big fan of
this cat. (Possibly some NSFW material there, I haven't checked)
He just has such personality.

I always strive to use semicolons in my sentences and I get excited when I can legitimately use one; they're just so cool in an "I can speak with better syntax than you can" way. I also dislike splitting up sentences with periods. Making transitions unrepetitive is so hard!
Now, back on topic: Lolcats are amazing. Although my personal favorite lol* is
the lolrus. I also love
lolgeeks.

Quite an interesting dilemma; however, I use them quite frequently. Especially in the case above.

Nice! I especially like the pile of ready-to-be-macro'd images. Good idea.
I linked you on
my macro site. I've been meaning to make a site like that myself, but haven't gotten around to it. The world needs more cats with words on them

Randall Munroe is a very smart man. He understands far more about physics and math than I ever will. However, I must say, I now know far more about attaching things to cats than he. In fact, if he had ever tried it himself, this comic never would have been posted.
In conclusion, don't try to tape things to ornery, half-asleep cat.

Some language buffs out there argue that there is a developing
"Kitty Pidgin" with accepted syntax and grammatical rules. Apparently there are some things a cat would just not say.
