Katamari Damacy!

Postby mrguy753 » Sun Jul 15, 2007 9:27 pm UTC

Na Na Nana Na Na Nana Na
Na Na Nana Na Na Nana Na!

I just thought it deserved it's own thread. Also, I'm bored.

So, who's excited for the new one?
I sing anyway.

I don't have a PS2 so that would be fruitless effort. :P

I think there's one for PSP and one other system...

It's really fun. Very unique. I can't beat the ending mission 100% though. Not ever. >_< Too many countries.

Awesome game, just always too short. :-)

I love that T-shirt design. I'm going to try to stencil it.

Katamari is just...it's full of win. All over. I have turned so many of my non-video game playing friends to it, to share the joys of rolling such a huge ball of...everything.
I find it's a great stress reliever, too.
Upset and frantic?
Yeah, well, I can just roll up my worries. Young School Boy, get in the ball. Yes, you too Grizzly Bear. You are still in notice.

I'm still holding out for it being on a nintendo system.

Which might not happen cause they can't figure out a control scheme that'll work.

Awesome game though, everyone should play it.

Erm. I think the Wiimote actually lends itself rather elegantly to the idea of rolling a ball. Failing that, the Classic Controller attachment has two analog sticks.

I'm just repeating what the developers have said. They're having trouble making it work for the wii the way they want it to.

So.. My PS2 spent the last 3 years more or less unused in a closet due to a strange grinding noise thing. I finally break down, tear the thing apart and look at the gears and such and determine the problem is.. insufficient lubricant on one of the shafts. So I lube up the shaft (lolz) and huzzah, everything appears to be working again.

Today I purchase Katamari Damacy.

Am I a bad person for only now playing this game?

Yes. You, unforutanately, are now doomed to burn in hell.

Nah, but seriously, I got this game in 2005, I think? I don't remember. But no, I never would have found it had it not been for my friend...I can't even play my PS2 because my fucking AC cord is messed up...

Katamari Damacy is one of the best 20 dollars video games I have ever gotten next to Alien Hominid.

Plus, that soundtrack is both fun and evil.

I'm saddened that the newest (possibly upcoming.) one isn't for Wii...
